SUBSTANCE: claimed process for preparing 1-(4′-tolyl)-3-methyl-5- pyrazolone by diazotization of p-toluydine and subsequently reducing p-tolyldiazonium chloride with sulfate-bisulfite mixture resulting from sodium (ammonium) bisulfite and ammonia water at pH of 5.8-7.0 and bisulfite to p-tolyldiazonium molar ratio of 2.49:1 to give p-tolylhydrazine and the latter is condensed with acetoacetic acid amide at pH of 1.9-2.5 and p- tolylhydrazine to acetoacetic acid amide molar ratio of 1: 1-1: 1.1 to obtain the desired white yellowish product having melting temperature of 134 C. EFFECT: more efficient preparation process.

Способ получения 1-(4'-толил)-3-метил-5-пиразолона диазотированием п-толуидина с последующим восстановлением хлористого п-толилдиазония сульфитно-бисульфитной смесью, полученное из бисульфита натрия (аммония) и аммиачной воды, при pH = 5,8 - 7,0 и мольном соотношении бисульфита и п-толилдиазония 2,49 : 1, получением п-толилгидразина и конденсацией последнего с амидом ацетоуксусной кислоты при рН = 1,9 - 2,5 и мольном соотношении п-толилгидразина и амида ацетоуксусной кислоты 1 : 1 - 1 : 1,1.
