Abstract

FIELD: surface strengthening of articles. SUBSTANCE: fatigue strength of material is achieved by creating residual compressive stress in surface layer of articles on addition to directed cold hardening. Mounted on base frame 1 are hydraulic power cylinder 2 and heads 3 and 4 with clamping jaws for fixing the ends of pumping rod 7. Head 3 is connected with rod 8 of hydraulic cylinder 2 and mounted on base frame for advance movement along base frame in guide members 9. Head 3 is also rigidly connected with pumping rod rotation limiter 10. Head 4 is connected with mechanism 12 ensuring rotation of pumping rod and through sliding coupling 13 is connected with base frame. Rotation limiter is installed on base frame with possibility for advance movement along base frame together with head 3. During operation of hydraulic cylinder, pumping rod rigidly secured in heads 3 and 4 is subjected to plastic deformation by tensioning and twisting which results in creation of directed cold hardening together with residual compressive stress. Claims (1)

Использование: предназначается для использования для поверхностного упрочнения длинномерных изделий. Цель: повышение усталостной прочности материала изделия за счет создания в поверхностном слое изделия наряду с направленным наклепом остаточного снимающего напряжения. Сущность: на станине (С) 1 закреплен силовой гидроцилиндр 2 и головки (Г) 3 и 4 с зажимными губками для крепления концов насосной штанги (НШ) 7. Г3 связана со штоком 8 гидроцилиндра 2 и установлена на С1 с возможностью поступательного перемещения вдоль С1 в направляющих 9, при этом ГЗ жестко связана с ограничителем вращения 10 НШ7. Г4 связана с механизмом 12, обеспечивающим вращение НШ7, а через муфту скольжения 13 связана с С1. Ограничитель вращения 10 установлен на С1 с возможностью поступательного перемещения вдоль С1 вместе с Г3. При работе гидроцилиндра 2 НШ7, жестко закрепленная в ГЗ и Г4, подвергается пластическому деформированию растяжением и кручением, в результате чего в поверхностном слое НШ происходит н правленный наклеп и возникают остаточные сжимающие напряжения.Use: intended for use for surface hardening of long products.
