Abstract

FIELD: microstructural, membranes. SUBSTANCE: microstructural membrane has sheet with two surfaces, matrix with holes running from one of the surfaces inside the sheet. Each hole of the matrix is encircled with flat zone and average typical sizes of holes amount to 0.1-5000.0 mcm. In this case, the hole size spread is less than 10% and their axes are parallel. Area of holes and hole spacing on the matrix are, as a whole, homogeneous on one of the surfaces, and sheet is made from glass, ceramics, metal, polymer or combinations of these materials. The method for manufacture of the microstructural membrane includes formation of the mask and matrix with holes in it. Mask is located in the immediate vicinity or in contact with one of the surfaces of the sheet of formed membrane. Holes are formed over the entire surface by directed action onto the mask of collimated flux of reactive ions or energy beam. Mask is formed in the close contact with the sheet of prepared membrane and the value of surface porosity on one of sheet surfaces amounts to, at least, 40%. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 26 cl, 6 dwg

Claims (1)
