Abstract

The storage device has a cold zone (K) for storage of cold items and a warm zone (W) for storage of warm items, positioned above the cold zone, with refrigerated air supplied to the base of the cold zone and to the separation region between the cold zone and the warm zone. The refrigerated air is extracted from the separation region via at least one vent snorkel (AS1,ASn) extending vertically through the warm zone, which is adjustable in length by forming it in separate sections, each corresponding to the height of a storage layer.
