Abstract

The method involves producing spatial horizontal acoustic pattern, which correspond to sound signals of different horizontal target directions and a test person (10) is presented for indicating the subjective horizontal direction. The indicated subjective horizontal direction is compared with the corresponding target direction. The hearing aid amplification factors are selected in dependence of the results of comparison. An independent claim is also included for the device for the execution of a direction hearing test in the horizontal plane.
