In winches for landing devices, the ropes are usually wound by rope winding devices which are moved in opposite directions by means of cross spindles or chain drives. Swing arms are also used for this purpose. Those equipped with a cross spindle or the chain drive system have the disadvantage that they allow only small forces to be absorbed in the axial direction (maximum deviation 5 °). of the unwound or wound rope sufficiently far from the winding device (winding path) depending on the length of the drum. The task of maintaining the appropriate length of the winding path makes it difficult to mount the winch, for example, on the deck of a ship, and means that it cannot be performed anywhere. A vertical positioning of the winch is also not possible with the current construction if the rope is also wound in a vertical direction. As the space on board ships becomes more and more confined, it is desirable, even with smaller cargo installations, to integrate winches into the poles to provide additional space for cargo. However, this is not possible with the hitherto horizontal arrangement of the drum and the known winding device. A structure comprising a swing arm is also known hitherto only with a rope that is wound perpendicularly to the axis of the drum. In this case, it could be achieved by an additional change in the direction of the rope at the swinging arm that the rope would be unwound from the winch parallel to the axis of the drum. Due to the necessity to change the direction of the rope three times, such a large amount of space must be provided that the above-mentioned goal, i.e. to integrate the winch into the pole, becomes impossible to achieve. The aim of the invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned obstacles. This goal was achieved according to the invention. resulting from a landing device with winches placed in or next to the pole (mast) fastening the boom or the like, due to the fact that the rotation axes of the winch drums are located parallel to the axis of the pole (mast). the carrying part of the rope runs over the winding device parallel to the axis of the drum.
