Abstract

Se describe un proceso para recuperar cianuro usado para lixiviar oro o plata del mineral. En el curso de la lixiviacion de oro o plata de minerales, se genera una solucion esteril. Una porcion de la solucion esteril que contiene cianuro de sodio es reciclada al proceso de cianuracion mientras que la purga de la solucion esteril es sometida a un pre-tratamiento, fotodisociacion de UV y ajuste de pH. En ultima instancia, un acido cianhidrico volatil se forma y se absorbe en una solucion de hidroxido de sodio mediante el uso de una membrana llenada con gas. Esto forma cianuro de sodio que puede ser reciclado y usado en el proceso de cianuracion para lixivia oro o plata del mineral
