Abstract

The invention relates to the field of optics, specifically to laser technologies, more specifically to lenses and protection of other optical elements from particle adhesion.The proposed invention uses a source of directed air flow - a radial fan with high airflow efficiency. The air flow is directed through a specially designed channel where an optical element is mounted so that the air flow moves parallel to its working surface, such as lens or glass. In the opposite site in the tunnel is a second opening – for operation the optical element (image capture or laser processing).The dimensions of the channel are designed to take into account the dimensions of the optical elements and the fan productivity, to sustain sufficient pressure and air flow, thus avoiding adhesion of 0.5 mm and smaller particles to the lens surface.
