The time-space-time segmentation type optical switch is used as an exchange fabric in an optical-cross-connector or an optical ATM switch which will process an amount of communication ranged from tens of Gbps to hundreds of Tbps. The time-space-time segmentation type optical switch including a plurality of first optical time switches(60) for exchanging time slots, an optical space switch(70) for receiving the outputs of the first optical time switches(60) to execute space exchanging, and a plurality of second optical time switches(80), comprises: each of said first optical time switches(60) comprised of a first optical switch(61) for inputting optical signals from n links to execute space exchanging, n first delayers(62) having different length to delay the time of the optical signals, and a coupling means(63) for coupling the outputs of the n first delayers(62) to output the coupled result to the optical space switch(70).
