종래 하나의 증발기를 갖고 냉장 및 냉동사이클을 이루는 냉장고는 하나의 증발기로 -18℃의 냉기를 냉장실 및 냉동실에 유입시키므로, 냉장실의 유지온도가 +3℃근처임에도 불구하고 필요이상의 냉각된 냉기가 공급되므로서 소비전력이 증가하는 문제점이 발생하고, 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 냉장실 및 냉동실 각각에 증발기를 구성하여 냉장실과 냉동실에 각각의 유지온도에 맞는 냉기를 유입시키고자 하는 냉장고가 구상된 바, 그러나 이와 같은 냉장고는 냉장실에 과대부하가 걸렸을 때나, 냉동실에 과대부하가 걸렸을 때와 같은 악조건에서 냉동사이클의 운전상식이 명확하지 않고, 냉장실 및 냉동실을 목표온도로 유지시키기 위한 제어방법에 없으며 반드시 이단압축기를 사용하여야 하는 문제점이 있었다.Conventionally, a refrigerator having one evaporator and forming a refrigeration and freezing cycle introduces cold air of -18 ° C into the refrigerator and freezer with one evaporator.
