본 발명은 폐수중에 용존된 잔류염소 성분을 아황산 혹은 그의 염을 사용하여 환원분해시키는 폐수중의 잔류염소의 제거방법으로써, 본 발명에 의해 잔류염소를 처리할 경우 초기치로부터 50-100%의 잔류염소의 제거가 가능하며 종래의 처리방법에 비해 처리비가 매우 저렴하고 부수적인 문제가 전혀 발생하지 않은 장점과 함께 공정이 매우 단순하다는 특징을 가지고 있다.The present invention is a method for removing residual chlorine in wastewater in which residual chlorine dissolved in the wastewater is reduced by decomposition with sulfurous acid or a salt thereof.
