Claims (5)

  1. 만곡된 모서리를 가진 실질적으로 직사각형 CRT를 위한 수축 조립형 내폭 보호형 밴드를 형성하기 위한 것으로, 적어도 하나의 물질 스트립을 만곡된 모서리(14) 및 상기 CRT의 크기보다 약간 더 작은 크기를 가진 실질적으로 직사각형 루우프로 형성하는 단계와; 상기 루우프를 대각선을 따라 신장함으로써 상기 루우프의 대각선 크기를 확장하여 상기 루우프에 약간의 병목 형상 영역(23)을 형성하는 단계는 특징으로 하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 루우프의 상기 대각선 크기가 약 1.0% 내지 1.5% 확장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 밴드의 상기 모서리(14)의 상기 내측 반경이 상기 CRT의 상기 모서리의 상기 외측반경과 실질적으로 동일한 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 스트립이 상기 스트립의 상기 단부를 함께 용접함으로써 상기 루우프로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 사익 스트립이 상기 스트립의 상기 단부를 함께 크림핑함으로써 상기 루우프로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
