Claims (10)

  1. 데카브로모디페닐 알칸을 주성분으로 하고, 평균 브롬 갯수가 9.0이상인 생성물을 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 브롬화 촉매와 브롬을 미리 넣어둔 반응 용기에 용융된 디페닐알칸을 공급하여 교분가능한 반응 매스를 형성하고(이때, 용융된 디페닐알칸은 공급하기 전에 비-산화 분위기하에 유지시킨 것이며, 브롬은 (ⅰ)불순물을 10ppm 이하로 함유하는 것이고, (ⅱ)공급되는 디페닐알칸 1몰당 18∼30몰의 브롬을 제공할 수 있는 양만큼을 넣는다.), 공급하는 동안 반응 매스 온도를 15℃이하로 유지시키고, 공급한 후에 반응 매스 온도를 50∼60℃ 범위내로 하고,반응 매스로부터 데카브로모디페닐알칸을 주성분으로 하는 생성물을 회수함을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 브롬의 충전량이 디페닐알칸 1몰당 23∼27몰의 브롬을 제공하는 방법.
  3. 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 디페닐알칸 반응물이 디페닐에탄인 방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 디페닐에탄올 반응 용기에 공급할때 온도가 55∼80℃인 방법.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 디페닐에탄을 질소 분위기하에 공급하는 방법.
  6. 제1내지 5항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 디페닐알칸을 공급한 후에 수득되는 반응 매스 온도를 2∼5시간 동안 유지시키는 방법.
  7. 제1 내지 6항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 반응 매스를 스팀 스트립핑함으로써 생성물을 회수하여 그로부터 비-연행 브롬을 제거하고, 회수된 생성물을 수성 염기로 세척하여 존재할 가능성이 있는 모든 HBr을 중화시키고, 세척된 생성물을 킬레이트제로 처리하여 그로부터 모든 불활성 촉매를 쉽게 제거하고, 처리된 생성물을 수성 매질로 세척하는 방법.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 수성 매질로 세척된 생성물을 더욱 처리하여 그로부터 연행 브롬을 제거하는 방법.
  9. 제7항에 있어서, 수성 매질로 세척된 생성물을 70℃ 이상의 온도로 가열한 다음, 분쇄하여 그로부터 연행브롬을 방출시키는 방법.
  10. 평균 브롬 갯수가 9.0이상이고, 황색도 지수(ASTM E 323)가 11.0∼18인, 데카브로모디페닐 알칸을 주성분으로 하는 난연성 생성물.
