Claims (8)

  1. 방사선 빔(20)을 발생하기 위한 방사선 소스 유니트(10)와, 디스플레이될 화상에 따라 방사선 빔을 변조시키기 위한 변조 시스템 및, 투사 스크린상에 디스플레이될 화상을 투사하기 위한 투사 렌즈 시스템(60)을 포함하되, 상기 변조 시스템이 방사선 빔을 서브-빔(21, 22)으로 분리시키기 위한 적어도 하나의 칼라선택 미러(31)와 서브-빔(24, 25)을 반사 및 변조시키기 위한 적어도 제1 및 제2반사성 광 밸브(41, 42)를 갖추고 있는 그런 투사 시스템에 있어서, 광 밸브(41,42)에 입사되는 방사선 빔과 광 밸브에 의해 반사되는 방사선 빔의 방사선 경로의 축이 광 밸브의 평면의 각 법선에 대해 비스듬히 뻗어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 투사 시스템.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 칼라 선택 미러(31,33)가 광 밸브에 입사되는 방사선 빔과 광 밸브에 의해 반사되는 빔 모두의 방사선 경로에 배열되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 투사 시스템.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 투사 시스템이 입사 및 반사 방사선 빔을 분리시키기 위한 각도-의존 빔 분리기(71, 75:72, 76:80)를 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 투사 시스템.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 칼라 선택 미러(31, 33)가 반사성 광 밸브(41, 42, 43)와 각도 의존-빔 분리기(80) 사이의 방사선 경로에 배열되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 투사 시스템.
  5. 제1항, 2항, 3항 또는 제4항에 있어서, 제1광 밸브에 입사되어 그것에 의해 반사되는 서브-빔(23, 26)의 방사선 경로의 축이 위치되는 제1평면과, 제2광 밸브에 입사되어 그것에 의해 반사되는 서브-빔(23, 26)의 방사선 경로가 위치되는 제2평면이 0보다 큰 각도로 뻗어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 투사 시스템.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 제1평면과 상기 제2평면이, 칼라 선택 미러의 평면과 반사성 광 밸브의 평면의 교차선에 평행한 교차선에 따라 서로 교차하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 투사 시스템.
  7. 제1항, 2항, 3항, 4항, 5항 또는 제6항에 있어서, 상기 변조 시스템이, 방사선 소스 유니트에 의해 발생된 방사선 빔을 적색, 녹색 및 청색 서브-빔으로 분리시키기 위한 2개의 칼라 선택 미러(31, 33)와, 디스플레이될 화상의 부분들은 3개의 서브-빔을 변조시키기 위한 3개의 반사성 광 밸브(41, 42, 43)를 갖고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 투사 시스템.
  8. 선행 항중 어느 한 항에서 청구된 바와같은 투사 시스템에 사용하기 위한 변조 시스템.
