제1도는 본 발명에 따른 광학 스위칭 강유전체 액정 광 밸브의 개략적 단면도.
제2도는 본 발명의 광밸브에서 사용되는 정렬층의 확대 단면도.
제3도는 본 발명 광 밸브의 바이어스 전압 및 광학 전송간의 관계를 나타내는 다이어그램도.

Claims (4)

  1. 입사광에 응답하는 바이어스 전압에 의해 입사광 사이에서 스위치 가능한 2개의 광학적 다른 쌍안정 상태를 갖고, 전면 및 후면을 가지는 다층 구조의 액정 장치에 있어서, 상기 장치는 강유전체 액정 혼합물로 구성된 액정층과 액정층에서 광학적으로 다른 쌍안정 상태를 설정하기 위해 상기 액정층 사이에서 스위칭 하는 한쌍의 전면 및 후면 정렬층과; 전면 정렬층에 인접한 전면 전극층과; 상기 후면 정렬층에 인접한 광학적반사층과 상기 후면에서 전기 전도 증가까지 입사광에 대하여 응답하고 광학적 반사층에 배치된 광 전도층과; 효과적 바이어스 전압이 2개의 쌍안정 상태 사이에서 상기 스위칭 효과에 대해 광 전도층의 증가된 전기전도부분을 통해 상기 액정층 양단에 공급되는 것과 같이 상기 광 전도층 및 액정층을 구비하는 다층 구조 사이에서 바이어스 전압 공급을 위해 전면 전극층과 조화되고 광 전도층에 배치된 후면 전극층과; 상기 다층 기판 사이에서 스위칭 하기 위한 한쌍의 전면 및 후면 투명 기판을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다층 액정장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 정렬층은 상기 액정층에서 2개의 쌍안정 상태 설정을 위해 효과적인 경사 마이크로 컬럼 구조를 가지는 경사 증기 실리콘 단결정 산화물 필름으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 다층 액정장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광 전도층은 수소 비결정 실리콘 필름으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 다층 액정 장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광학적 반사층과 상기 광 전도층 사이에 삽입된 광학적 차폐층을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다층 액정장치.
