옥외에 설치된 수도꼭지 등의 동파 방지용 밸브에 관한 것이다.
[해결하고자 하는 과제]
종래의 밸브로는 하나의 수도꼭지에만 작용되므로 동파 우려가 있는 시설물이 인근에 있더라도 보호할 수가 없어 동파방지를 위해 별도의 조치를 해야 하는 불편이 있다.
[과제 해결 수단]
통상의 밸브에 티(T)형 연결구를 삽입하여 티의 일방에 다른 개소에도 물을 공급할 수 있도록 배관을 접속시킬 수 있도록 하고, 동파방지용 밸브를 닫을 때 티(T)에 연결된 배관 내의 물도 밸브 본체의 물과 함께 배수 구멍을 통해 빠져나오게 했다.
[고안의 효과]
본 고안에 의한 동파방지 밸브 한 개로 다수의 수도꼭지 동파를 방지할 수 있어 경제적이고도 편리하다.[Technical field]
