차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인 냉각구조{COOLING STRUCTURE FOR HYBRID POWERTRAIN OF VEHICLE}
본 발명은 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인 구조에 관한 기술이다.
하이브리드 파워트레인은 FMED(Flywheel Mounted Electric Device) 방식과 TMED(Transmission Mounted Electric Device) 방식으로 구분될 수 있으며, 각각의 장단점을 가지고 있다.
본 발명은 상기와 같은 종래의 단순한 FMED나 TMED 방식이 아니라, 이들을 결합한 방식의 파워트레인에 관한 기술이다.
즉, 본 발명은 엔진의 출력축에 제1모터가 구비되고, 변속기 입력축에 제2모터가 구비되며, 이들 제1모터와 제2모터가 엔진클러치에 의해 연결되는 하이브리드 파워트레인에 관한 것이다.
상기 발명의 배경이 되는 기술로서 설명된 사항들은 본 발명의 배경에 대한 이해 증진을 위한 것일 뿐, 이 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에게 이미 알려진 종래기술에 해당함을 인정하는 것으로 받아들여져서는 안 될 것이다.

본 발명은 엔진의 출력축에 제1모터가 구비되고, 변속기 입력축에 제2모터가 구비되며, 이들 사이에 엔진클러치가 구비된 하이브리드 파워트레인에서, 상기 제1모터와 제2모터 및 엔진클러치의 냉각을 효과적으로 도모하여, 차량의 내구성을 향상시키고 안정된 동력 전달 성능을 확보할 수 있도록 한 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인 냉각구조를 제공함에 그 목적이 있다.
상기한 바와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인 냉각구조는,
엔진 출력축에 동심축을 이루며 연결되고, 제1모터의 로터에 연결된 제1로터샤프트;
상기 제1로터샤프트에 회전이 구속되도록 동심축을 이루어 연결되고 엔진클러치에 연결된 엔진클러치샤프트;
상기 엔진클러치에 연결된 제2모터의 로터에 회전이 구속되고, 상기 엔진클러치샤프트에 동심축을 이루어 설치된 변속기입력축;
상기 제1모터와 제2모터 및 엔진클러치를 동시에 냉각시키는 오일을 공급할 수 있도록 상기 변속기입력축에 형성된 냉각유로;
를 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 한다.
상기 엔진클러치샤프트와 제1로터샤프트는 서로 반경방향으로 중첩되면서 상기 변속기입력축의 냉각유로를 통해 공급되는 오일을 수용하는 오일챔버를 형성할 수 있다.
상기 엔진클러치샤프트는 상기 변속기입력축의 냉각유로와 연통되도록 중공축으로 형성되고;
상기 제1로터샤프트는 상기 엔진클러치샤프트를 통해 전달되는 오일을 공급받을 수 있도록 중공부가 형성되어, 상기 오일챔버를 형성할 수 있다.
상기 제1로터샤프트에는 상기 오일챔버의 오일을 상기 제1모터 쪽으로 공급하도록 제1냉각홀이 형성될 수 있다.
상기 제1모터의 로터는 제1로터허브에 고정되고;
상기 제1로터허브는 내측플랜지부가 상기 제1로터샤프트에 연결되며;
상기 제1냉각홀은 상기 제1로터허브의 내측플랜지부 양쪽으로 오일을 공급하도록 축방향으로 서로 이격되어 복수개가 형성될 수 있다.
상기 엔진클러치샤프트에는 상기 오일챔버의 오일을 상기 제2모터 쪽으로 공급하도록 제2냉각홀이 형성될 수 있다.
상기 엔진클러치는 상기 엔진클러치샤프트와 제2모터의 로터 사이를 단속하도록 설치되고;
상기 변속기입력축에는 상기 냉각유로의 오일을 상기 엔진클러치 쪽으로 공급하는 제3냉각홀이 형성될 수 있다.
상기 엔진클러치의 반경방향 외측에는 상기 제2모터의 로터가 위치하고;
상기 제2모터의 로터는 제2로터허브에 고정되고;
상기 제2로터허브는 중앙에 저널부가 구비되며;
상기 저널부의 내측은 상기 엔진클러치샤프트와의 사이에 제1베어링으로 지지되고, 외측은 하우징에 제2베어링으로 지지되며;
상기 제2냉각홀은 상기 오일챔버로부터의 오일이 상기 제1베어링과 제2베어링을 관통하도록 하는 위치에 형성될 수 있다.
상기 제2로터허브의 저널부에는 상기 제1베어링을 통과한 오일이 상기 제2베어링으로 유입되도록 하는 제1연통홀이 형성될 수 있다.
상기 제2로터허브에는 상기 제2모터의 로터 위치를 센싱하기 위한 레졸버를 설치하기 위한 센서플랜지가 구비되고;
상기 센서플랜지에는 상기 제2베어링을 통과한 오일이 상기 제2로터허브의 반경방향으로 유동하여 상기 제2모터의 로터와 스테이터로 향하도록 하는 제2연통홀이 구비될 수 있다.
상기 엔진클러치는 내측의 클러치허브와 외측의 클러치리테이너 사이에 다수의 마찰플레이트가 중첩되어 구성되며;
상기 클러치허브는 상기 엔진클러치샤프트에 연결되고;
상기 클러치리테이너는 상기 제2로터허브를 상기 변속기입력축으로 연결하는 연결플레이트에 연결되며;
상기 클러치허브에는 상기 제3냉각홀로부터 공급된 오일이 상기 다수의 마찰플레이트를 통과하도록 하는 제3연통홀이 형성되고;
상기 클러치리테이너에는 상기 마찰플레이트를 통과한 오일이 상기 클러치리테이너와 제2로터허브 사이로 토출되도록 하는 제4연통홀이 형성될 수 있다.
상기 제2로터허브에는 상기 제4연통홀에서 토출된 오일이 제2모터의 스테이터를 향하도록 하는 제5연통홀이 형성될 수 있다.
본 발명은 엔진의 출력축에 제1모터가 구비되고, 변속기 입력축에 제2모터가 구비되며, 이들 사이에 엔진클러치가 구비된 하이브리드 파워트레인에서, 상기 제1모터와 제2모터 및 엔진클러치의 냉각을 효과적으로 도모하여, 차량의 내구성을 향상시키고 안정된 동력 전달 성능을 확보할 수 있도록 한다.

도 1을 참조하면, 본 발명이 적용될 수 있는 하이브리드 파워트레인은 엔진(E)에 제1모터(P1)가 연결되고, 변속기(TM) 입력측에 제2모터(P2)가 연결되며, 이들 제1모터(P1)와 제2모터(P2) 사이에는 엔진클러치(EC)가 구비된 구성이다.
도 2 내지 도 5를 참조하면, 본 발명 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인 냉각구조의 실시예는, 엔진 출력축에 동심축을 이루며 연결되고, 제1모터(P1)의 로터에 연결된 제1로터샤프트(1); 상기 제1로터샤프트(1)에 회전이 구속되도록 동심축을 이루어 연결되고 엔진클러치(EC)에 연결된 엔진클러치샤프트(3); 상기 엔진클러치(EC)에 연결된 제2모터(P2)의 로터에 회전이 구속되고, 상기 엔진클러치샤프트(3)에 동심축을 이루어 설치된 변속기입력축(5); 상기 제1모터(P1)와 제2모터(P2) 및 엔진클러치(EC)를 동시에 냉각시키는 오일을 공급할 수 있도록 상기 변속기입력축(5)에 형성된 냉각유로(7)를 포함하여 구성된다.
즉, 본 발명은 상기 제1로터샤프트(1), 엔진클러치샤프트(3) 및 변속기입력축(5)이 차례로 동심축을 이루어 배치되고, 이들을 통해 상기 제1모터(P1), 제2모터(P2) 및 엔진클러치(EC)가 지지된 파워트레인 구조에서, 상기 변속기입력축(5)의 냉각유로(7)를 통해 공급된 오일을 이용하여, 상기 제1모터(P1)와 제2모터(P2) 및 엔진클러치(EC)를 동시에 냉각할 수 있도록 구성한 것이다.
참고로, 도 2에서 상기 제1로터샤프트(1)는 엔진(E)의 크랭크샤프트(9)와의 사이에 댐퍼(11)를 통하여 연결되어, 엔진(E)의 진동을 흡수할 수 있도록 하고 있다.
또한, 도 5에 예시된 바와 같이, 상기 변속기입력축(5)에는 상기 냉각유로(7) 이외에 상기 엔진클러치(EC)를 제어하기 위한 제어유압을 공급하는 제어유로(13)가 함께 형성되어 있으며, 상기 제어유로(13)는 단부가 캡(15)에 의해 막혀 있고, 상기 냉각유로(7)의 단부에 구비된 캡에는 오일공급홀(17)이 구비되어, 상기 냉각유로(7)를 통해 공급된 오일이 통과하는 양을 조정할 수 있도록 되어 있다.
상기 엔진클러치샤프트(3)와 제1로터샤프트(1)는 서로 반경방향으로 중첩되면서 상기 변속기입력축(5)의 냉각유로(7)를 통해 공급되는 오일을 수용하는 오일챔버(19)를 형성한다.
상기 엔진클러치샤프트(3)는 상기 변속기입력축(5)의 냉각유로(7)와 연통되도록 중공축으로 형성되고, 상기 제1로터샤프트(1)는 상기 엔진클러치샤프트(3)를 통해 전달되는 오일을 공급받을 수 있도록 중공부가 형성되어, 상기 변속기입력축(5)과 함께 상기 오일챔버(19)를 형성하는 것이다.
따라서, 상기 변속기입력축(5)의 냉각유로(7) 및 오일공급홀(17)을 통해 공급된 오일은 상기 오일챔버(19)에 수용되어, 상기 제1모터(P1)와 제2모터(P2) 및 엔진클러치(EC)의 냉각에 필요한 오일이 안정적으로 공급될 수 있게 되는 것이다.
상기 제1로터샤프트(1)에는 상기 오일챔버(19)의 오일을 상기 제1모터(P1) 쪽으로 공급하도록 제1냉각홀(21)이 형성된다.
즉, 상기 제1모터(P1)의 로터는 제1로터허브(23)에 고정되고, 상기 제1로터허브(23)는 내측플랜지부(25)가 상기 제1로터샤프트(1)에 연결된 구조이며, 상기 제1냉각홀(21)은 상기 제1로터허브(23)의 내측플랜지부(25) 양쪽으로 오일을 공급하도록 축방향으로 서로 이격되어 복수개가 형성된 것이다.
따라서, 상기 오일챔버(19)의 오일은 상기 제1로터샤프트(1)의 회전에 따라 도 4에 도시된 바와 같이 상기 제1냉각홀(21)을 통해 상기 제1로터허브(23)의 내측플랜지부(25) 양쪽으로 오일이 비산되면서 상기 제1모터(P1)의 로터 및 스테이터를 향해 이동하여 냉각작용을 수행하게 되는 것이다.
상기 엔진클러치샤프트(3)에는 상기 오일챔버(19)의 오일을 상기 제2모터(P2) 쪽으로 공급하도록 제2냉각홀(27)이 형성된다.
또한, 상기 엔진클러치(EC)는 상기 엔진클러치샤프트(3)와 제2모터(P2)의 로터 사이를 단속하도록 설치되고, 상기 변속기입력축(5)에는 상기 냉각유로(7)의 오일을 상기 엔진클러치(EC) 쪽으로 공급하는 제3냉각홀(29)이 형성된다.
상기 엔진클러치(EC)의 반경방향 외측에는 상기 제2모터(P2)의 로터가 위치하고, 상기 제2모터(P2)의 로터는 제2로터허브(31)에 고정되고, 상기 제2로터허브(31)는 중앙에 저널부(33)가 구비되며, 상기 저널부(33)의 내측은 상기 엔진클러치샤프트(3)와의 사이에 제1베어링(35)으로 지지되고, 외측은 하우징(36)에 제2베어링(37)으로 지지되며, 상기 제2냉각홀(27)은 상기 오일챔버(19)로부터의 오일이 상기 제1베어링(35)과 제2베어링(37)을 관통하도록 하는 위치에 형성된다.
또한, 상기 제2로터허브(31)의 저널부(33)에는 상기 제1베어링(35)을 통과한 오일이 상기 제2베어링(37)으로 유입되도록 하는 제1연통홀(39)이 형성된다.
따라서, 상기 오일챔버(19)로부터 상기 제2냉각홀(27)로 유동한 오일은 상기 제1베어링(35)을 통과한 후 상기 제1연통홀(39)을 통과함으로써, 상기 제2베어링(37)을 윤활 및 냉각할 수 있도록 공급된다.
한편, 상기 제2로터허브(31)에는 상기 제2모터(P2)의 로터 위치를 센싱하기 위한 레졸버(41)를 설치하기 위한 센서플랜지(43)가 구비되고, 상기 센서플랜지(43)에는 상기 제2베어링(37)을 통과한 오일이 상기 제2로터허브(31)의 반경방향으로 유동하여 상기 제2모터(P2)의 로터와 스테이터로 향하도록 하는 제2연통홀(45)이 구비된다.
따라서, 상기 제2베어링(37)을 윤활한 오일은 도 5에 도시된 바와 같이 상기 제2로터허브(31)의 측면을 타고 반경방향 외측으로 이동하여 상기 제2연통홀(45)을 통해 상기 제2모터(P2)의 로터 및 스테이터를 냉각하도록 이동하게 된다.
상기 엔진클러치(EC)는 내측의 클러치허브(47)와 외측의 클러치리테이너(49) 사이에 다수의 마찰플레이트(51)가 중첩되어 구성되며; 상기 클러치허브(47)는 상기 엔진클러치샤프트(3)에 연결되고; 상기 클러치리테이너(49)는 상기 제2로터허브(31)를 상기 변속기입력축(5)으로 연결하는 연결플레이트(53)에 연결되며; 상기 클러치허브(47)에는 상기 제3냉각홀(29)로부터 공급된 오일이 상기 다수의 마찰플레이트(51)를 통과하도록 하는 제3연통홀(55)이 형성되고; 상기 클러치리테이너(49)에는 상기 마찰플레이트(51)를 통과한 오일이 상기 클러치리테이너(49)와 제2로터허브(31) 사이로 토출되도록 하는 제4연통홀(57)이 형성된다.
따라서, 상기 변속기입력축(5)의 제3냉각홀(29)을 통해 반경방향 외측으로 공급되는 오일은 상기 클러치허브(47)의 제3연통홀(55)을 통해 상기 마찰플레이트(51)들을 냉각하고 상기 클러치리테이너(49)의 제4연통홀(57)로 토출되게 된다.
상기 제2로터허브(31)에는 상기 제4연통홀(57)에서 토출된 오일이 제2모터(P2)의 스테이터를 향하도록 하는 제5연통홀(59)이 형성된다.
따라서, 상기 제4연통홀(57)에서 토출된 오일은 상기 제2로터허브(31) 내측을 타고 이동하여 상기 제5연통홀(59)을 통해 상기 제2모터(P2)의 로터와 스테이터를 향해 이동하게 된다.
참고로, 상기 제4연통홀(57)에서 토출된 오일이 상기 제5연통홀(59)로 원활히 흐르도록 하기 위해, 상기 제2로터허브(31)의 내주면은 상기 제5연통홀(59)이 형성된 부위를 향해 내경이 점차 커지는 경사 단면을 형성하고 있다.
이상과 같이 본 발명에 의하면, 변속기입력축(5)에 구비된 냉각유로(7)를 통해 공급된 오일이 상기 제1냉각홀(21), 제2냉각홀(27) 및 제3냉각홀(29)을 통해 반경방향 외측으로 동시에 이동되면서 상기 제1모터(P1), 제2모터(P2) 및 엔진클러치(EC)를 효과적으로 냉각할 수 있도록 하여, 파워트레인의 동력 성능을 지속적으로 안정되게 확보할 수 있도록 함은 물론, 내구성을 향상시킬 수 있도록 한다.
본 발명은 특정한 실시예에 관련하여 도시하고 설명하였지만, 이하의 특허청구범위에 의해 제공되는 본 발명의 기술적 사상을 벗어나지 않는 한도 내에서, 본 발명이 다양하게 개량 및 변화될 수 있다는 것은 당업계에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에게 있어서 자명할 것이다.

Claims (12)

  1. 엔진 출력축에 동심축을 이루며 연결되고, 제1모터의 로터에 연결된 제1로터샤프트;
    상기 제1로터샤프트에 회전이 구속되도록 동심축을 이루어 연결되고 엔진클러치에 연결된 엔진클러치샤프트;
    상기 엔진클러치에 연결된 제2모터의 로터에 회전이 구속되고, 상기 엔진클러치샤프트에 동심축을 이루어 설치된 변속기입력축;
    상기 제1모터와 제2모터 및 엔진클러치를 동시에 냉각시키는 오일을 공급할 수 있도록 상기 변속기입력축에 형성된 냉각유로;
    를 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인 냉각구조.
  2. 청구항 1에 있어서,
    상기 엔진클러치샤프트와 제1로터샤프트는 서로 반경방향으로 중첩되면서 상기 변속기입력축의 냉각유로를 통해 공급되는 오일을 수용하는 오일챔버를 형성하는 것
    을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인 냉각구조.
  3. 청구항 2에 있어서,
    상기 엔진클러치샤프트는 상기 변속기입력축의 냉각유로와 연통되도록 중공축으로 형성되고;
    상기 제1로터샤프트는 상기 엔진클러치샤프트를 통해 전달되는 오일을 공급받을 수 있도록 중공부가 형성되어, 상기 오일챔버를 형성하는 것
    을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인 냉각구조.
  4. 청구항 3에 있어서,
    상기 제1로터샤프트에는 상기 오일챔버의 오일을 상기 제1모터 쪽으로 공급하도록 제1냉각홀이 형성된 것
    을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인 냉각구조.
  5. 청구항 4에 있어서,
    상기 제1모터의 로터는 제1로터허브에 고정되고;
    상기 제1로터허브는 내측플랜지부가 상기 제1로터샤프트에 연결되며;
    상기 제1냉각홀은 상기 제1로터허브의 내측플랜지부 양쪽으로 오일을 공급하도록 축방향으로 서로 이격되어 복수개가 형성된 것
    을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인 냉각구조.
  6. 청구항 4에 있어서,
    상기 엔진클러치샤프트에는 상기 오일챔버의 오일을 상기 제2모터 쪽으로 공급하도록 제2냉각홀이 형성된 것
    을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인 냉각구조.
  7. 청구항 6에 있어서,
    상기 엔진클러치는 상기 엔진클러치샤프트와 제2모터의 로터 사이를 단속하도록 설치되고;
    상기 변속기입력축에는 상기 냉각유로의 오일을 상기 엔진클러치 쪽으로 공급하는 제3냉각홀이 형성된 것
    을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인 냉각구조.
  8. 청구항 7에 있어서,
    상기 엔진클러치의 반경방향 외측에는 상기 제2모터의 로터가 위치하고;
    상기 제2모터의 로터는 제2로터허브에 고정되고;
    상기 제2로터허브는 중앙에 저널부가 구비되며;
    상기 저널부의 내측은 상기 엔진클러치샤프트와의 사이에 제1베어링으로 지지되고, 외측은 하우징에 제2베어링으로 지지되며;
    상기 제2냉각홀은 상기 오일챔버로부터의 오일이 상기 제1베어링과 제2베어링을 관통하도록 하는 위치에 형성된 것
    을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인 냉각구조.
  9. 청구항 8에 있어서,
    상기 제2로터허브의 저널부에는 상기 제1베어링을 통과한 오일이 상기 제2베어링으로 유입되도록 하는 제1연통홀이 형성된 것
    을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인 냉각구조.
  10. 청구항 9에 있어서,
    상기 제2로터허브에는 상기 제2모터의 로터 위치를 센싱하기 위한 레졸버를 설치하기 위한 센서플랜지가 구비되고;
    상기 센서플랜지에는 상기 제2베어링을 통과한 오일이 상기 제2로터허브의 반경방향으로 유동하여 상기 제2모터의 로터와 스테이터로 향하도록 하는 제2연통홀이 구비된 것
    을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인 냉각구조.
  11. 청구항 8에 있어서,
    상기 엔진클러치는 내측의 클러치허브와 외측의 클러치리테이너 사이에 다수의 마찰플레이트가 중첩되어 구성되며;
    상기 클러치허브는 상기 엔진클러치샤프트에 연결되고;
    상기 클러치리테이너는 상기 제2로터허브를 상기 변속기입력축으로 연결하는 연결플레이트에 연결되며;
    상기 클러치허브에는 상기 제3냉각홀로부터 공급된 오일이 상기 다수의 마찰플레이트를 통과하도록 하는 제3연통홀이 형성되고;
    상기 클러치리테이너에는 상기 마찰플레이트를 통과한 오일이 상기 클러치리테이너와 제2로터허브 사이로 토출되도록 하는 제4연통홀이 형성된 것
    을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인 냉각구조.
  12. 청구항 11에 있어서,
    상기 제2로터허브에는 상기 제4연통홀에서 토출된 오일이 제2모터의 스테이터를 향하도록 하는 제5연통홀이 형성된 것
    을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인 냉각구조.
