실시예 2와 4를 이용하여 마우스의 모발 성장 촉진 효과를 평가하였다. 먼저 생후 47~53일된 마우스(C57BL/6)의 등 부위 털을 일렉트릭 크립퍼(electric clipper)로 제거하였다. 상기 연령의 마우스 모발은 휴지기에 들어선 상태이므로 바로 성장하지 않는다는 특징을 가진다. 그 중 등 부위 피부가 양호한 마우스들을 골라 한 군당 5~7마리의 마우스가 포함되도록 3개의 군으로 나눈 후, 별도의 케이스에서 사육하였다. 실시예 2와 4가 각각 0.6%로 포함되도록 한 시리얼 사료를 식이를 통하여 자유 섭취하도록 하였다. 콩 추출물을 포함하지 않은 시리얼 사료를 섭취한 군을 대조군으로 하였다. 23일 후 각 군의 제모 부위 변화를 관찰하고 그 사진을 도 1에 나타내었다. 또한 제모 부위에 새로 성장한 각 마우스의 모발을 일렉트릭 크립퍼로 수거하여 무게를 측정하였다. 그 결과를 아래 표에 나타내었다.The hair growth promoting effect of the mice was evaluated using Examples 2 and 4.
