Abstract
Description
도 2는 본 발명에 따라 레벨-권취형 스풀로 권취된, 일정 길이의 접착제-배킹된 휠 중량체 재료의 사시도.

도 4는 도 3의 장치에 대한 대안적인 휠 중량체 재료 이송기 롤러의 부분 정면 평면도.
Claims (3)
- 운송수단의 일부분을 밸런싱(balancing)하는 데 적합한 질량을 갖는 운송수단 밸러스팅 중량체(vehicle ballasting weight)를 분배하는 방법으로서,
폭 또는 두께보다 길이가 더 긴 일정 길이의 운송수단 밸러스팅 중량체 재료를 동일한 방향으로 이동할 수 있는 대향하는 이동가능한 표면들 사이에 개재시켜서, 각각의 이동가능한 표면이 중량체 재료의 대향하는 표면과 접촉하게 하는 단계 - 각각의 이동가능한 표면은 이동가능 벨트 장착 요소 또는 고정 벨트 장착 요소에 장착되고, 상기 대향하는 이동가능한 표면들은 평행 링크들을 통해 운송수단 밸러스팅 중량체 재료의 두께를 수용하도록 자동으로 조절가능한 거리로 이격되며, 각각의 상기 링크는 이동가능 벨트 장착 요소에 피벗가능하게 장착되는 일 단부 및 고정 벨트 장착 요소에 피벗가능하게 장착되는 타 단부를 구비함-;
중량체 재료가 대향하는 이동가능한 표면들 사이에 개재된 상태에서 대향하는 이동가능한 표면들을 절단 위치를 향한 방향으로 이동시킴으로써 일정 길이의 운송수단 밸러스팅 중량체 재료의 선단부를 절단 위치를 지나 증분 거리로 이동시키는 단계; 및
상기 이동 중에 또는 이동 후에 운송수단 밸러스팅 중량체 재료를 절단 위치에서 절단하여, 고도의 정확도 내에서 운송수단의 일부분을 밸런싱하는 데 적합한 운송수단 밸러스팅 중량체의 정확한 질량에 대응하는 증분 길이의 중량체 재료를 형성하는 단계
를 포함하고,
운송수단 밸러스팅 중량체 재료는 고밀도 미립자 재료로 충전된 가요성 중합체 매트릭스 재료를 포함하는 방법. - 제1항에 있어서, 운송수단 밸러스팅 중량체 재료는 레벨 권취형(level wound) 형태로 제공되는 방법.
- 휠 장착 운송수단의 휠을 밸런싱하는 방법으로서,
제1항 또는 제2항 중 어느 한 항의 방법에 따라 증분 길이의 운송수단 밸러스팅 중량체 재료를 분배하는 단계;
휠 밸런싱 장치를 사용하여 휠을 밸런싱하는 데 필요한 정확한 질량을 결정하는 단계; 및
증분 길이의 운송수단 밸러스팅 중량체 재료를 휠 상에 고정하여, 휠을 밸런싱하는 단계
를 포함하고,
상기 절단하는 단계는 휠 밸런싱 장치에 의해 결정된 정확한 질량의 0.1 그램 내에서 대응하는 증분 길이의 운송수단 밸러스팅 중량체 재료를 형성하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
