도 3은 도 1의 정지영역 검출부의 일실시예 상세 구성도이다.
도 4는 도 3의 로컬 히스토그램 생성부가 생성한 히스토그램의 일예를 설명하기 위한 것이다.
도 5는 도 1의 정지영역 검출부의 입력과 출력의 일예시도이다.
도 6은 영상처리부의 동작을 설명하기 위한 일예시도이다.

Claims (6)
- 제1게인이 설정된 영상에서 정지영역을 검출하는 검출부; 및
상기 정지영역에 대해, 상기 제1게인보다 낮은 게인을 설정하는 영상처리부를 포함하는 잔상방지장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 검출부는,
상기 영상을 소정 크기의 블록으로 분할하여, 소정 주기마다 해당 블록의 영상에 대한 히스토그램을 생성하는 생성부; 및
이전 주기에서 생성된 히스토그램을 현 주기의 히스토그램과 매칭하여, 유사도에 따라 정지영역을 결정하는 매칭부를 포함하는 잔상방지장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 검출부는,
상기 생성부가 생성한 블록의 영상에 대한 히스토그램의 특징을 결정하는 결정부를 더 포함하는 잔상방지장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 매칭부는,
유사도에 따라 정지영역의 레벨을 차등적으로 결정하는 잔상방지장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 영상처리부는,
상기 정지영역의 중심 픽셀에 대하여 상기 제1게인보다 낮은 제2게인을 설정하고, 상기 정지영역의 그 외 픽셀에 대하여 상기 정지영역의 주위 블록의 게인을 보간하여 설정하는 잔상방지장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 영상처리부는,
상기 정지영역의 레벨에 따라 차등적으로 게인을 설정하는 잔상방지장치.
