Description
도 2는 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 이중 대역 RFID 태그에서 생성되는 응답 신호와 IR-UWB 송신 신호에 대한 도면이다.

Claims (5)
- UHF(Ultra High Frequency) 대역의 표준 프로토콜에 따라 RFID 리더와 통신하는 UHF 송수신부;
UWB 인에이블 신호가 입력되면, 상기 UHF 송수신부에서 RFID 리더로부터 수신한 무선 주파수 신호에 따라 생성된 응답 신호에 대응하는 IR-UWB 송신 신호를 생성하여 상기 RFID 리더로 전송하는 UWB 송신부; 및
동작 모드 설정에 의해 UWB 모드가 선택되는 경우에 UWB 인에이블 신호를 생성하여 상기 UWB 송신부로 전송하는 제어부;를 포함하는 이중 대역 RFID 태그.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 표준 프로토콜은 EPC Class-1 또는 EPC Class-1 Gen2 중 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 이중 대역 RFID 태그.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 IR-UWB 송신 신호는 상기 응답 신호의 상승 에지마다 발생되는 연속적인 펄스 신호인 것을 특징으로 하는 이중 대역 RFID 태그.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
태그 ID 및 기타 태그 정보가 저장되어 있는 저장부;를 더 포함하고,
상기 UHF 송수신부는 상기 RFID 리더로부터 수신한 무선 주파수 신호에 대응하여 상기 저장부에 저장되어 있는 태그 ID 또는 기타 태그 정보를 포함하는 상기 응답 신호를 생성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이중 대역 RFID 태그.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 UHF 송수신부와 전기적으로 결합된 UHF 안테나; 및
상기 UWB 송신부와 전기적으로 결합된 UWB 안테나;를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이중 대역 RFID 태그.
