Description
The present invention relates to an apparatus for collecting liquid medical waste, and more particularly, liquid medical waste such as blood extracted from a surgical part of a patient during surgery is sucked into the collection container by a vacuum suction method and simultaneously introduced into the collection container. Liquid medical waste is absorbed by a separate blood-absorbing member and absorbent blood-absorbing agent so that it solidifies quickly, so that liquid medical waste does not leak at all, even if the container is inadvertently knocked down during the collection or handling process. The present invention relates to a liquid medical waste collection apparatus which can prevent secondary infection caused by contaminated liquid waste during disposal and greatly improve handling safety.
In general, various types of infectious medical wastes are generated in hospitals and public health centers.Infectious medical wastes are discharged from medical institutions such as human tissues, cotton wool, carcasses of experimental animals, and test and research institutes under the Waste Management Act.
