Abstract

PURPOSE: An apparatus for eliminating algae is provided to improve the efficiency of an algae elimination process on the edge of lake and dam by installing an algae inhaling pipe line. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for eliminating algae includes an algae inhaling pipe-line(1a), a floating tank(7), and a dehydrator(10). The algae inhaling pipe-line is installed at the surface layer of lake and dam. The algae inhaling pipe-line inhales surface water and algae. The algae inhaling pipe-line includes a buoy(1c), a flexible unit(1d), a filter, and an anchor(1f). The buoy maintains the constant depth of the pipe-line. The flexible unit easily changes the height and the position of the pipe-line. The flexible unit is installed between connecting flanges. The filter includes a plurality of inhaling flow amount controlling valves. The anchor is connected using a chain in order to fix the position of the pipe-line.
