Claims (5)
- 차량의 롤오버(rollover) 사건을 검출하는 차량 롤오버 검출 장치로서,차량의 롤오버 사건을 검출하기 위한 증가된 센서 입력 아키텍쳐(architecture)와,승객 구속 장치를 제어하기 위해 증가된 센서 입력 아키텍쳐에 응답하는 제어기를 포함하는 차량 롤오버 검출 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 증가된 센서 입력 아키텍쳐는 안정화 전자 제어 센서와 차량 롤오버 센서를 포함하는 것인 차량 롤오버 검출 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 안정화 전자 제어 센서는 차량 속도 센서, 조향각 센서, 측방 슬립각 센서, 요 속도(yaw rate) 센서 및 측방 가속도 센서 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 것인 차량 롤오버 검출 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 차량 롤오버 센서는 차량 롤오버 센서, Y축 측방 가속도계(accelerometer) 및 Z축 가속도계를 포함하는 것인 차량 롤오버 검출 장치.
- 차량의 롤오버 사건을 검출하는 차량 롤오버 검출 방법으로서,관련 한계값을 초과하는지의 여부를 결정하기 위해서 롤 각도의 함수인 차량의 롤 속도를 모니터링하는 단계와,차량의 측방 가속도를 모니터링하는 단계와,차량의 측방 가속도가 소정값을 초과하는지의 여부를 결정하는 단계와,롤오버 조건이 모니터링되는 측방 가속도와 롤 각도의 함수인 롤 속도에 반응할 수 있는지의 여부를 결정하고, 제1 결정 신호를 출력하는 단계와,차량의 안정화 전자 제어 장치를 모니터링하는 단계와,안정화 전자 제어 장치가 차량의 롤오버 조건을 나타내는지 결정하고, 제2 결정 신호를 출력하는 단계, 그리고제1 결정 신호 및 제2 결정 신호에 응답하여 작동 가능한 구속 장치를 제어하는 단계를 포함하는 차량 롤오버 검출 방법.
