Claims (14)
- 밀링 작업을 위해 절삭 공구(44)에서 사용하기 위한 인덱스 가능한 절삭 인서트(10)이며,2개의 동일한 대체로 장사방형의 대향 단부면(12)과,2개의 대향 단부면(12) 사이에서 연장되고 절삭 인서트(10)의 중간면(M)에 수직인 주연 측면(14)과,각각의 단부면(12)과 관련되는 2개의 제1 절삭 에지(32)와,각각의 단부면(12)과 관련되고 하나의 제1 절삭 에지(32)와 각각 만나는 2개의 코너 절삭 에지(36)를 포함하고,소정의 단부면(12)과 관련된 2개의 제1 절삭 에지(32)는 서로 평행하고, 각각의 제1 절삭 에지(32)는 중간면(M)에 대해 0이 아닌 제1 각도를 형성하는 인덱스 가능한 절삭 인서트.
- 제1항에 있어서, 각각의 단부면(12)과 관련된 2개의 제2 절삭 에지(34)를 더 포함하고,소정의 단부면(12)과 관련된 2개의 제2 절삭 에지(34)는 서로 평행하고,각각의 제2 절삭 에지(34)는 중간면(M)에 대해 0이 아닌 제2 각도를 형성하고,각각의 코너 절삭 에지(36)는 하나의 제2 절삭 에지(34)와 만나는 인덱스 가능한 절삭 인서트.
- 제2항에 있어서, 제1 각도는 제2 각도와 다른 인덱스 가능한 절삭 인서트.
- 제3항에 있어서, 연속 절삭 에지 섹션(18)은 각각의 코너 절삭 에지(36)와 관련되고, 소정의 절삭 에지 섹션(18)은 소정의 코너 절삭 에지(36)를 포함하고, 제1 및 제2 절삭 에지(34)는 소정의 코너 절삭 에지(36)와 만나는 인덱스 가능한 절삭 인서트.
- 제4항에 있어서, 주연 측면(14)은 6개의 측면을 포함하고, 이들 중 4개의 측면은 대체로 편평한 주측면(26)이고, 2개의 측면은 직경방향으로 대향되는 반경 코너 측면(28)이고, 각각의 코너 측면(28)은 2개의 주측면(26) 사이에 위치되어 주측면과 만나는 인덱스 가능한 절삭 인서트.
- 제5항에 있어서, 2개의 직경방향으로 대향되는 대체로 편평한 부측면(30)을 더 포함하고, 각각의 부측면(30)은 2개의 주측면(26) 사이에 위치되는 인덱스 가능한 절삭 인서트.
- 제6항에 있어서, 각각의 단부면(12)은 각각의 절삭 에지 섹션(18)과 관련된 레이크 면(38)을 포함하고, 레이크 면(38)은 절삭 에지 섹션(18)으로부터 중간면(M)을 향해 내측으로 연장되는 인덱스 가능한 절삭 인서트.
- 제7항에 있어서, 레이크 면(38)은 중간면(M)으로부터 이격된 연결부(40)로부터 상향으로 경사지는 상승부(42)와 연결부(40)를 따라서 만나는 인덱스 가능한 절삭 인서트.
- 제8항에 있어서, 소정의 단부면(12)과 관련된 상승부(42)는 연결부(40)로부터 소정의 단부면(12)의 편평 단부 구역(24)으로 연장되는 인덱스 가능한 절삭 인서트.
- 제9항에 있어서, 각각의 편평 단부 구역(24)은 중간면(M)과 평행한 인덱스 가능한 절삭 인서트.
- 제10항에 있어서, 절삭 인서트(10)에는 편평 단부 구역(24)을 통과하는 관통 보어가 제공되는 인덱스 가능한 절삭 인서트.
- 제11항에 있어서, 절삭 인서트(10)는 각각의 제1, 제2 및 제3의 회전 대칭축(R1, R2, R3)에 대하여 180°회전 대칭성을 갖고,제1 축(R1)은 편평 단부 구역(24)에 수직이고,제2 축(R2)은 부측면(30)을 통과하고,제3 축(R3)은 코너 측면(28)을 통과하는 인덱스 가능한 절삭 인서트.
- 회전축(A)을 갖는 밀링 작업을 위한 절삭 공구(44)이며,제12항에 따른 복수의 인덱스 가능한 절삭 인서트(10)를 포함하고,각각의 절삭 인서트(10)는 작동식 제1 절삭 에지(32')가 소정의 축방향 레이크 각도(γ)로 위치되도록 인서트 포켓에 안착되는 절삭 공구.
- 제13항에 있어서, 축방향 레이크 각도(γ)는 0 내지 5°범위에 있는 절삭 공구.
