Abstract
Provide a protective cover covering the electronic device. The protective cover includes a first case and a second case. The first case includes a front cover, a back cover and an elastic strip. The front cover and the rear cover are formed correspondingly apart from each other and have separate cavities for accommodating the insertion of the device. An elastic strip is formed between these covers. These covers and elastic strips limit the space above the first case. The second case is configured to be disposed in the space of the first case and has a slot for receiving the insertion of the device. Therefore, the protective cover can be simply covered in order to prevent damage due to collisions and to avoid dust and moisture contamination, so that the protective cover conforms to the shape of the device and significantly increases the life of the device.
Description
The present invention relates to a protective cover, and more particularly, to a protective cover for covering an electronic device such as a USB portable storage device.
The development of the technology has brought various commercial electronic devices such as USB portable storage devices (USB flash disks), mobile phones and MP3 players. These technologies have not only enriched our lives, but have also improved work efficiency. Among the electronic devices, USB portable storage devices are popularly used for storing data due to their large storage capacity, high transfer rate, low cost, convenience and pluggable features. However, users would inadvertently lose their USB portable storage devices because of their small size. Moreover, the USB connector of the device was easily damaged by the crash. To overcome this problem, suppliers offer USB portable storage devices with protective covers.

Although the prior art protective cover protects the connector of the electronic device, there are still some problems as described below. The electronic device has a special shape and its locking structure must follow the shape of the electronic device for attachment. In order to provide a protective cover that fits with other types of electronic devices, the supplier has to pay a high cost to set a large number of molds for manufacturing parts of different shapes. In addition, dust and moisture easily diffuse into the electronic device through the openings arranged in the case, damaging the device. So the lifetime of the electronic device is reduced. Therefore, the present inventors devise the present invention to solve the problems described above.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to assemble a first case, a matching second case, and an electronic device together so as to cover the electronic device compactly, thereby reducing damage due to a collision so as to significantly increase the life of the electronic device. It is to provide a protective cover to cover the electronic device to prevent, and to avoid contamination of dust and moisture.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a protective cover for covering the electronic device. The protective cover includes a first case and a second case. The first case includes a back cover, a front cover and an elastic strip. The front cover is correspondingly formed away from the rear cover. Both the front cover and the rear cover have individual cavities formed therein to accommodate the insertion of the electronic device. An elastic strip is formed between the front cover and the rear cover. Space is defined above the first case by the back cover, the front cover and the elastic strip. The second case is configured to be disposed in the space of the first case. The second case has a slot formed therein for receiving the insertion of the electronic device.
The object of the present invention is undoubtedly clear to those having ordinary skill in the art by reading the detailed description of the following preferred embodiment, which is illustrated in the various figures.

According to the present invention, the protective cover can be compactly covered in accordance with the shape of the device, to prevent damage due to a collision, to avoid dust and moisture contamination, in order to significantly increase the life of the device.
