Abstract

PURPOSE: Provided are electric wheelchair's wheels exclusively for passing obstacles, improving the structure and safety of the electric wheelchair for the disabled. CONSTITUTION: The electric wheelchair's wheels exclusively for passing obstacles include rubber belts(5,11) and hydraulic pistons(9) mounted on auxiliary wheels(3) on the front and rear sides of the wheelchair. A user operates a control device(2) to drive the hydraulic piston(9) for adjusting the height of the chair(1) and for moving the auxiliary wheels(3) in the vertical direction. When the wheelchair needs to go up or down the stairway, the user simply operates the control device(2) to ensure that the wheelchair is in an upright position.
