Claims (7)
- IGMP와 GVRP를 지원하는 IP 멀티캐스트/가상랜 매니저 및 멀티캐스트 그룹 멤버를 포함하여 구성된 네트워크에서의 가상랜(VLAN)을 이용한 아이피(IP) 멀티캐스트 서비스 방법에 있어서,전달자가 IP 멀티캐스트 그룹을 생성한 후 상기 IP 멀티캐스트/가상랜 매니저에게 IP 멀티캐스트 그룹에 참여한 호스트의 검색을 요청하는 제1 단계;상기 IP 멀티캐스트/가상랜 매니저는 상기 호스트에 직접 연결된 라우터로 상기 호스트가 VLAN을 지원하는지 확인하는 제2 단계; 및상기 IP 멀티캐스트 그룹에 참여한 호스트가 VLAN을 지원하는 경우 전달자는 VLAN으로 패킷을 전달하고 VLAN을 지원하지 않는 경우 상기 전달자는 IP 멀티캐스트로 방송(broadcasting)하는 제3 단계; 를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가상랜을 이용한 아이피 멀티캐스트 서비스 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 IP 멀티캐스트/가상랜 매니저는,IP 멀티캐스트 라우터의 역할을 수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가상랜을 이용한 아이피 멀티캐스트 서비스 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 단계는,상기 전달자가 상기 IP 멀티캐스트/가상랜 매니저를 선정하는 것을 특징으로하는 가상랜을 이용한 아이피 멀티캐스트 서비스 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 단계는,상기 전달자가 상기 생성된 IP 멀티캐스트 그룹에 호스트의 등록 또는 탈퇴 관리를 상기 IP 멀티캐스트/가상랜 매니저로 요청하는 제4 단계;상기 IP 멀티캐스트/가상랜 매니저가 상기 요청을 수락한 경우 상기 전달자는 SDP를 통해 멀티캐스트 세션을 알리는 제5 단계; 및호스트는 상기 IP 멀티캐스트/가상랜 매니저로 등록 또는 탈퇴를 요청하여 상기 IP 멀티캐스트 그룹에/으로부터 등록 또는 탈퇴하는 제6 단계; 를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가상랜을 이용한 아이피 멀티캐스트 서비스 방법.
- 제 4항에 있어서, 상기 SDP는,상기 IP 멀티캐스트 그룹에서 VLAN을 이용하기 위한 새로운 필드를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가상랜을 이용한 아이피 멀티캐스트 서비스 방법.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 호스트는 상기 SDP를 이용하여 VLAN 및 IP 멀티캐스트 그룹에 모두 등록하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가상랜을 이용한 아이피 멀티캐스트 서비스 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 제3 단계는,상기 VLAN 및 IP 멀티캐스트를 동시에 지원하는 경우 VLAN을 우선적으로 이용하고 다음으로 IP 멀티캐스트를 이용하여 패킷을 전달하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가상랜을 이용한 아이피 멀티캐스트 서비스 방법.
