Abstract

PURPOSE: A transparent soap composition is provided, to improve the transparency and the deodorizing effect by employing trehalose and a nano-sized silver. CONSTITUTION: The transparent soap composition comprises 1.0-10 wt% of trehalose; and 10-1,000 ppm of a nano-sized silver. Preferably the transparent soap composition comprises 50-80 wt% of a surfactant mixture comprising sodium cocoyl isethionate, disodium lauryl sulfosuccinate and sodium lauryl sulfate; 5-30 wt% of a fatty acid of C12-C18 or a fatty alcohol for improving the hardness and the moisturizing effect; 1.0-10 wt% of trehalose; and 10-1,000 ppm of nano-sized silver.
