Abstract

PURPOSE: A pulsator for a washing machine is provided to produce in a low price and improve corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance and the strength of the surface by forming a chromium-plating layer on the surface. CONSTITUTION: A pulsator(20) for a washing machine is injection-molded from synthetic resin and is composed of a chromium plating layer(22) formed on the upside of the pulsator that is exposed to the inside of the washing machine and contacted to the laundry. The chromium plating layer is not tarnished in the air with having excellent durability and, additionally, is not damaged or discolored even if the chromium plating layer is exposed to chemical products as various detergents, due to excellent chemical resistance of the chromium plating layer.
