Abstract

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of fertilizer using calcined dolomite and organic wastes such as garbage, urine and excrements, slaughter waste and fishery waste is provided to effective dispose organic wastes and also the fertilizer obtained by this method is useful as a soil conditioner since it is alkaline. CONSTITUTION: After measuring moisture content of organic wastes stored in a bin(1), organic wastes are crushed by a crusher(3). Calcined dolomite contained in a bin(2) is crushed into particles and above two raw materials are mixed/conveyed by a screw mixer(4) where heat of reaction resulting from hydration reaction between calcined dolomite and moisture of organic wastes sterilizes microbes that would exist in wastes. The amount of the calcine dolomite depends on the moisture content of organic wastes.
