Claims (12)
- 복수의 화소전극과, 복수의 게이트 버스 라인과, 복수의 데이터 버스 라인과, 이들 화소전극, 게이트 버스 라인 및 데이터 버스 라인에 접속된 박막트랜지스터가 배치된 표시부와, 상기 표시부 주위의 비표시부에 배치되고, 상기 게이트 버스 라인에 접속된 검사단자를 가지는 제 1 기판과,상기 복수의 화소전극에 대향하여 배치된 공통전극을 가지는 제 2 기판과,상기 제 1 기판과 상기 제 2 기판 사이에 봉입된 액정으로 구성된 액정표시패널에 있어서,상기 제 2 기판의, 상기 검사단자에 대향하는 영역에는 상기 공통전극이 형성되어 있지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 복수의 화소전극과, 복수의 게이트 버스 라인과, 복수의 데이터 버스 라인과, 이들 화소전극, 게이트 버스 라인 및 데이터 버스 라인에 접속된 박막트랜지스터가 배치된 표시부와, 상기 표시부 주위의 비표시부에 배치되고, 상기 게이트 버스 라인에 접속된 검사단자를 가지는 제 1 기판과,상기 복수의 화소전극 및 상기 검사단자에 대향하여 배치된 공통전극과, 상기 공통전극 상의, 상기 검사단자에 대향하는 영역에 형성된 절연막을 가지는 제 2 기판과,상기 제 1 기판과 상기 제 2 기판 사이에 봉입된 액정을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 절연막이 포토레지스트에 의해 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 제 2 기판의 상기 공통전극 상에 도메인규제용 돌기를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제 4항에 있어서,상기 절연막 및 상기 도메인규제용 돌기가 모두 포토레지스트에 의해 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제 1 기판의 표시부에 게이트 버스 라인을 형성하고, 비표시부에 상기 게이트 버스 라인과 접속된 검사단자를 형성하는 공정과,상기 제 1 기판상에 데이터 버스 라인과, 화소전극과, 이들 데이터 버스 라인, 화소전극 및 상기 게이트 버스 라인에 접속한 박막 트랜지스터를 형성하는 공정과,상기 검사단자에 대향하는 영역을 제외하고 제 2 기판 상에 공통전극을 형성하는 공정과,상기 제 1 기판과 상기 제 2 기판 사이에 액정을 봉입하는 공정을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널의 제조방법.
- 제 6항에 있어서,상기 공통전극은 상기 검사단자에 대향하는 영역에 마스크를 배치하고, 도전재료를 스퍼터링하여 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널의 제조방법.
- 제 1 기판의 표시부에 게이트 버스 라인을 형성하고, 비표시부에 상기 게이트 버스 라인과 접속된 검사단자를 형성하는 공정과,상기 제 1 기판상에 데이터 버스 라인과, 화소전극과, 이들 데이터 버스 라인, 화소전극 및 상기 게이트 버스 라인에 접속한 박막 트랜지스터를 형성하는 공정과,제 2 기판상에 공통전극을 형성하는 공정과,상기 검사단자에 대향하는 영역의 상기 공통전극 상에 절연막을 형성하는 공정과,상기 제 1 기판과 상기 제 2 기판 사이에 액정을 봉입하는 공정을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널의 제조방법.
- 제 8항에 있어서,상기 절연막을 포토레지스트에 의해 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널의 제조방법.
- 제 8항에 있어서,상기 화소전극에 도메인규제용 슬릿을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널의 제조방법.
- 제 8항에 있어서,상기 공통전극 상에 도메인규제용 돌기를 형성하는 공정을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널의 제조방법.
- 제 11항에 있어서,상기 도메인규제용 돌기 및 상기 절연막은 포토레지스트에 의해 동시에 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널의 제조방법.
