Claims (21)
- 왕겨재(rice hull ash), 세라믹 클레이 바인더(ceramic clay binder), 쌀겨, 및 박락제(剝落劑; exfoliating agent)를 포함하는 과립상(顆粒狀) 단열재료.
- 왕겨재, 세라믹 클레이 바인더, 쌀겨, 및 박락제를 포함하는 과립상 단열재료로서, 상기 단열재료가 1000℃ 이상의 온도에 노출되면 껍질이 벗겨져서 팽창된 미립자 물질을 형성하는 과립상 단열재료.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,상기 과립은 펠렛(pellet), 디스크, 구(球), 또는 과립의 형상인 과립상 단열재료.
- 제 1항 내지 제 3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,건조중량 기준으로 70∼95%의 왕겨재, 2∼20%의 세라믹 클레이 바인더, 0.1∼10%의 쌀겨, 0.1∼10%의 박락제, 및 1∼10%의 물을 포함하는 과립상 단열재료.
- 제 4항에 있어서,건조중량 기준으로 85∼95%의 왕겨재, 5∼15%의 세라믹 클레이 바인더, 2∼5%의 쌀겨, 0.2∼5%의 박락제, 및 1∼5%의 물을 포함하는 과립상 단열재료.
- 제 5항에 있어서,건조중량 기준으로 약 85%의 왕겨재, 약 5%의 세라믹 클레이 바인더, 약 5%의 쌀겨, 약 0.35%의 박락제, 및 총량으로 약 4%의 물을 포함하는 과립상 단열재료.
- 제 1항 내지 제 6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 세라믹 클레이 바인더가 다음과 같은 성분의 함유 범위를 가지는 내화성 클레이인 과립상 단열재료:SiO2<55%, Al2O3>20%, K2O<1%, Na2O<0.5%.
- 제 1항 내지 제 7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 박락제가 흑연, 질석(蛭石; vermiculite), 및 진주석(眞珠石; perlite)으로 이루어지는 군에서 선택되는 과립상 단열재료.
- 제 8항에 있어서,상기 박락제가 박락형(exfoliating) 흑연인 과립상 단열재료.
- 제 1항 내지 제 9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,건조중량 기준으로 약 85%의 왕겨재, 약 5%의 세라믹 클레이 바인더, 5%의 쌀겨, 약 0.35%의 박락제, 및 총량으로 약 4%의 물을 포함하는 과립상 단열재료.
- (a) 왕겨재, 세라믹 클레이 바인더, 쌀겨, 및 박락제를 혼합하는 단계;(b) 슬러리를 형성하도록 상기 혼합물에 물을 첨가하는 단계;(c) 상기 슬러리로 형성된 혼합물을 과립으로 성형하는 단계; 및(d) 상기 과립을 건조하는 단계를 포함하는 과립상 단열재료의 제조방법.
- 제 11항에 있어서,상기 단계 (b)에서 물이 상기 혼합물 중량의 20∼50%의 양으로 첨가되는 과립상 단열재료의 제조방법.
- 제 12항에 있어서,상기 단계 (b)에서 물이 상기 혼합물 중량의 30∼35%의 양으로 첨가되는 과립상 단열재료의 제조방법.
- 제 11항 내지 제 13항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 단계 (a) 및 단계 (b)가 동일 장치에서 행해지는 과립상 단열재료의 제조방법.
- 제 14항에 있어서,상기 성분을 혼합하고 슬러리를 형성하는 장치가 저속 리본 블렌더(ribbon blender)인 과립상 단열재료의 제조방법.
- 제 11항 내지 제 15항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 과립형성 단계 (c)가 브리켓터(briquetter), 디스크 펠렛터(disk pelleter), 또는 압출 펠렛프레스(extrusion pellet press)에서 행해지는 과립상 단열재료의 제조방법.
- 제 11항 내지 제 16항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 과립이 4∼12mm의 직경을 가지는 대체로 원통형의 펠렛인 과립상 단열재료의 제조방법.
- 제 17항에 있어서,상기 펠렛이 8mm의 직경 및 4∼20mm의 길이를 가지는 과립상 단열재료의 제조방법.
- 제 11항 내지 제 18항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 건조단계 (d)가 100℃∼130℃의 온도에서 행해지는 과립상 단열재료의 제조방법.
- 제 1항 내지 제 10항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 과립상 단열재료를 용강 또는 용융금속에 첨가하여 상기 단열재료가 상기 용강 또는 용융금속으로부터의 1000℃의 온도에 노출되면 박락을 일으킴으로써 상기 용강 또는 용융금속 상에서 단열층을 형성하도록 하는 용강 또는 용융금속의 단열방법.
- 용강 또는 용융금속의 단열을 위한 제 1항 내지 제 10항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 과립상 단열재료의 용도.
