Claims (4)
- 화면표시장치 및 시스템 제어부를 포함하는 휴대용 전화기의 전원 제어 방법에 있어서,(a) 공급 전원차단을 위한 임계 대기시간(To)을 설정하기 위한 단계;(b) 상기 휴대용 전화기가 대기상태로 전환되는지를 판단하기 위한 단계;(c) 상기 단계(b)의 판단 결과 대기상태로 전환되는 경우에, 실행 대기시간(Ts)을 측정하기 위한 단계;(d) 상기 임계 대기시간(To)과 상기 실행 대기시간(Ts)을 비교하기 위한 단계; 및(e) 상기 단계(d)의 비교 판단 결과, 상기 실행 대기시간(Ts)이 상기 임계 대기시간(To)보다 크거나 같은 경우에 상기 화면표시장치에 공급되는 전원을 차단시키기 위한 단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 전화기의 전원 제어 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 화면표시장치에 공급되는 전원이 차단된 상태에서 상기 시스템 제어부에 소정 명령이 입력되는 경우에 상기 화면표시장치에 전원 공급을 재개시키는 단계를 더 포함함을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 전화기의 전원 제어 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 소정 명령은 상기 휴대용 전화기를 구성하는 키패드에 의한 키명령 및 모뎀을 통하여 입력되는 전화 수신 요청 명령임을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 전화기의 전원 제어 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단계(a)에 사용자가 선택적으로 절전모드를 설정할 수 있도록 하는 전원 제어 선택 메뉴를 추가하고, 상기 절전모드에서만 상기 단계(b)∼단계(e)를 실행시키기 위한 절전모드 판단 단계를 더 포함함을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 전화기의 전원 제어 방법.
