Abstract

PURPOSE: A coupling for connecting nonferrous metal pipes is provided to easily assemble the coupling by connecting with bolts and nuts and to connect nonferrous metal pipes such as copper, stainless and the like. CONSTITUTION: A coupling for connecting nonferrous metal pipes is used by: inserting a coupling part of both nonferrous metal pipes(1,1a) into both insides of a packing(12) inserted to be slightly protruded into both insertion grooves on the inner circumference of a socket(10); inserting nonferrous metal or synthetic resin couplings(20,20a) into the inside of protruded rings(2,2a) by forming the protruded rings on the outer diameter of the coupling part; hanging a lower curved surface(31) to the protruded rings by inserting the nonferrous metal couplings into the outside of the protruded rings; inserting upper and lower connecting ends(21,21a) through a path(15) between both protrusions(13,13a) on both front ends of the socket; and connecting penetrating holes(22,22a) of the upper and lower connecting ends with penetrating holes(14,14a) of both protrusions with bolts and nuts after equalizing the penetrating holes each other.
