Claims (12)
- 하나이상의 하기 화학식(1)의 화합물 및 동시에 하나이상의 하기 화학식(100)의 화합물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 양성 유전 이방성을 갖는 극성 화합물들의 혼합물을 기본으로하는 액정 매질:화학식 1화학식 100상기식에서,R1및 R2는 각각 서로 독립적으로 2 내지 7개의 탄소원자를 갖는 알케닐 라디칼이고;R0'는 12개 까지의 탄소원자를 각각 갖는 n-알킬, 알콕시, 옥사알킬, 플루오로알킬 또는 알케닐이고;Y2'는 H 또는 F이고;X0'는 F, Cl, 1 내지 6개의 탄소원자를 각각 갖는 할로겐화 알킬, 알케닐, 알콕시, 알케닐옥시 또는 옥사알킬이다.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,하기 화학식 (2) 내지 (8)로 이루어지는 그룹으로부터 선택된 하나이상의 화합물을 추가로 포함함을 특징으로 하는 액정 매질:화학식 2화학식 3화학식 4화학식 5화학식 6화학식 7화학식 8상기식에서,R0는 12개까지의 탄소원자를 각각 갖는 n-알킬, 알콕시, 옥사알킬, 플루오로알킬 또는 알케닐이고;X0는 F, Cl, 1 내지 6개의 탄소원자를 각각 갖는 할로겐화 알킬, 알케닐, 알콕시 또는 알케닐옥시이고;Y1및 Y2는 각각의 경우에 서로 독립적으로 H 또는 F이고;r은 0 또는 1이다.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,화학식 (1), (100) 및 (2) 내지 (8)의 화합물 모두의 비율이 전체 혼합물중에서 50중량% 이상임을 특징으로 하는 액정 매질.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,화학식 (1)의 화합물의 비율이 전체 혼합물중에서 10 내지 50중량%임을 특징으로 하는 액정 매질.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,화학식 (100)의 화합물의 비율이 전체 혼합물중에서 10 내지 70중량%임을 특징으로 하는 액정 매질.
- 제 2 항 내지 제 5 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,화학식 (2) 내지 (8)의 화합물의 비율이 전체 혼합물중에서 20 내지 80중량%임을 특징으로 하는 액정 매질.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,하나이상의 하기 화학식(1a) 내지 화학식(1c)의 화합물을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 액정 매질:화학식 1a화학식 1b화학식 1c상기식에서,R1a및 R2a는 각각 서로 독립적으로 H 또는 1 내지 5개의 탄소원자를 갖는 알킬 라디칼이고;R1b및 R2b는 각각 서로 독립적으로 H 또는 1 내지 3개의 탄소원자를 갖는 알킬 라디칼이다.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,하나이상의 하기 화학식 (100a) 내지 화학식 (100c)의 화합물을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 액정 매질:화학식 100a화학식 100b화학식 100c상기식에서,R0', Y2', X0'는 제 1 항에서 정의한 바와 같다.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 8 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,X0'가 F, OCHF2, OCF3, OCHFCF3, OC2F5또는 OCH=CF2인 하나이상의 화학식 (100)의 화합물을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 액정 매질.
