Claims (16)
- 표시 패널의 복수 개의 기준 밝기들에 각각 대응하는 복수 개의 구동 전원 전압들을 기초로, 목표 밝기에 대응하여 상기 표시 패널에 제공할 구동 전원 전압을 결정하는 구동 전원 전압 설정부; 및
상기 복수 개의 기준 밝기들에 각각 대응하는 복수 개의 목표 휘도들을 기초로, 상기 목표 밝기에 대응하는 목표 휘도를 결정하고, 상기 목표 휘도를 구현하기 위한 감마 전압들을 설정하는 감마 전압 설정부를 포함하되,
상기 구동 전원 전압 및 상기 감마 전압들은,
상기 표시 패널의 주변 조도에 따라 동일한 기준 밝기에 대하여 상이하게 설정되고,
상기 구동 전원 전압 설정부는, 상기 주변 조도가 조도 임계값 미만일 때, 제1 임계 밝기보다 큰 기준 밝기들에 대응하여 상기 구동 전원 전압들을 임계 구동 전원 전압으로 동일하게 설정하는, 휘도 제어부. - 제1항에 있어서,
