Claims (12)
- 복수의 데이터선 중 대응하는 데이터선, 복수의 게이트선 중 대응하는 게이트선 및 기준 전압선에 연결되는 박막 트랜지스터 형성 영역, 및 두 개의 저계조 부화소 영역과 상기 두 개의 저계조 부화소 영역의 사이에 위치하는 하나의 고계조 부화소 영역을 포함하는 표시 영역을 포함하는 복수의 화소;
상기 복수의 데이터선으로 상기 복수의 화소에 대응하는 데이터 신호를 공급하는 데이터 구동부;
상기 복수의 게이트선으로 상기 복수의 화소에 대응하는 게이트 전압을 공급하는 게이트 구동부; 및
상기 기준 전압선을 통해 상기 복수의 화소의 저계조 화소 영역으로 기준 전압을 공급하는 기준 전압 공급부;
를 포함하고, 상기 기준 전압선이 상기 고계조 부화소와 상기 두 개의 저계조 부화소 중 상기 박막 트랜지스터 형성 영역에 인접한 제1 저계조 부화소가 이루는 경계를 따라서 세로 방향으로 연장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 박막 트랜지스터 형성 영역은,
상기 고계조 부화소 영역에 속하는 고계조 화소 전극과 연결되어 있는 제1 박막 트랜지스터;
상기 데이터선 및 상기 두 개의 저계조 부화소 영역에 속하는 두 개의 저계조 화소 전극과 연결되어 있는 제2 박막 트랜지스터; 및
상기 두 개의 저계조 화소 전극 및 상기 기준 전압선과 연결되어 있는 제3 박막 트랜지스터를 포함하는 액정 표시 장치. - 제2 항에 있어서,
상기 저계조 부화소 영역들은 각각 두 개의 도메인을 포함하고,
상기 두 개의 도메인은 상하로 배열되는 액정 표시 장치. - 제3 항에 있어서,
상기 고계조 화소 전극과 상기 제1 박막 트랜지스터는 상하로 배열된 상기 제1 저계조 부화소 영역에 포함되는 두 개의 도메인의 경계를 따라서 형성되는 제1 연결부를 통해 연결되는 액정 표시 장치. - 제4 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 연결부의 평면상 두께가 위치에 따라 변경되는 액정 표시 장치. - 제5 항에 있어서,
상기 기준 전압선의 평면상 두께가 위치에 따라 변경되는 액정 표시 장치. - 제6 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 연결부 및 상기 기준 전압선이 교차하는 영역에 대응하여, 상기 제1 연결부의 평면상 두께 및 상기 기준 전압선의 평면상 두께가 증가하는 액정 표시 장치. - 제7 항에 있어서,
상기 복수의 화소 중 적어도 하나는 상기 박막 트랜지스터 형성 영역 내의 상기 게이트선과 연결되는 지점 및 상기 데이터선과 연결되는 지점이 절단되고, 상기 제1 연결부 및 상기 기준 전압선이 쇼트되는 액정 표시 장치. - 제8 항에 있어서,
상기 복수의 화소 중 적어도 하나는 상기 제2 및 제3 박막 트랜지스터가 쇼트되는 액정 표시 장치. - 복수의 데이터선 중 대응하는 데이터선, 복수의 게이트선 중 대응하는 게이트선 및 기준 전압선에 연결되는 박막 트랜지스터 형성 영역, 및 두 개의 저계조 부화소 영역과 상기 두 개의 저계조 부화소 영역의 사이에 위치하는 하나의 고계조 부화소 영역을 포함하는 표시 영역을 포함하는 복수의 화소 및 상기 기준 전압선을 통해 상기 복수의 화소의 저계조 화소 영역으로 기준 전압을 공급하는 기준 전압 공급부를 포함하고, 상기 기준 전압선이 상기 고계조 부화소와 상기 두 개의 저계조 부화소 중 상기 박막 트랜지스터 형성 영역에 인접한 제1 저계조 부화소가 이루는 경계를 따라서 세로 방향으로 연장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 리페어 방법에 있어서,
상기 박막 트랜지스터 형성 영역 내의 상기 게이트선과 연결되는 지점을 절단하는 단계;
상기 박막 트랜지스터 형성 영역 내의 상기 데이터선과 연결되는 지점을 절단하는 단계; 및
상기 박막 트랜지스터 형성 영역과 상기 고계조 부화소 영역을 연결하는 제1 연결부 및 이와 교차하는 상기 기준 전압선을 연결하는 단계;
를 포함하는 액정 표시 장치의 리페어 방법. - 제10 항에 있어서,
상기 박막 트랜지스터 형성 영역에 포함되고, 상기 두 개의 저계조 부화소 영역에 속하는 두 개의 저계조 화소 전극 및 상기 기준 전압선과 연결되어 있는 제3 박막 트랜지스터를 쇼트시키는 단계;
를 더 포함하는 액정 표시 장치의 리페어 방법. - 제11 항에 있어서,
상기 데이터선 및 상기 두 개의 저계조 화소 전극과 연결되어 있는 제2 박막 트랜지스터를 쇼트시키는 단계;
를 더 포함하는 액정 표시 장치의 리페어 방법.
