Abstract
본 발명은 스티렌 중합체 및 알루미늄을 포함한 미니 펠릿을 제조하고, 수중에서 현탁시키고, 아조계 개시제를 포함한 스티렌 모노머 조성물을 천천히 연속적으로 투입하고 중합하는 발포성 스티렌 중합체의 제조방법을 제공한다.
본 발명에 따르면, 흑색의 불투열성 재료를 함유하는 기존의 단열재가 태양광 노출에 의한 열화현상이 나타나는 것과 비교하여, 본 발명의 발포성 스티렌 중합체는 태양광 노출에 의한 열화현상을 억제하여 건축용 단열자재로서 효과적으로 사용될 수 있으며, 발포성 스티렌 중합체의 중합시간을 단축시켜 생산성이 향상된다.

Claims (9)
- 스티렌 중합체, 알루미늄 및 흑연을 포함한 조성물을 혼합하고 압출하여, 상기 스티렌 중합체가 80~99.5 중량%, 상기 알루미늄이 0.5~20 중량% 및 상기 흑연이 상기 알루미늄 100 중량부 대비 10~100 중량부로 포함되고, 입자의 지름이 0.3~1.5 mm인 미니 펠릿을 제조하는 단계;
상기 제조된 미니 펠릿을 현탁제인 트리칼슘포스페이트 및 라디칼 흡착제인 과산화수소와 함께 수중에서 현탁시켜 수중 현탁액을 얻는 단계;
상기 수중 현탁액의 온도를 70~80 ℃로 승온하고, 상기 승온된 수중 현탁액에 아조계 개시제, t-부틸퍼옥시 벤조에이트 및 퍼설페이트계 개시제를 포함한 스티렌 모노머 조성물을 2~3시간에 걸쳐 연속적으로 투입하여 중합하는 단계;
상기 중합하는 단계 이후에 100~130 ℃로 승온하고 발포제를 투입하여 발포성 스티렌 중합물을 얻는 단계; 및
상기 얻어진 발포성 스티렌 중합물을 탈수하고 건조하는 단계를 포함하되,
상기 퍼설페이트계 개시제는 포타슘퍼설페이트, 암모늄퍼설페이트 및 소디움퍼설페이트로부터 선택되는 적어도 어느 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 발포성 스티렌 중합체의 제조방법. - 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 알루미늄은 판상 형태로서 입자의 지름이 5~200 ㎛인 것을 특징으로 하는 발포성 스티렌 중합체의 제조방법. - 삭제

상기 아조계 개시제는 디메틸 2,2-아조비스(이소부티레이트), 2,2-아조비스-2,4-디메틸 발레로니트릴, 2,2-아조비스(이소부티로니트릴) 및 2,2-아조비스(4-메톡시 발로로니트릴)로 이루어진 군 중에서 선택된 1종 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 발포성 스티렌 중합체의 제조방법. - 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 아조계 개시제는 상기 스티렌 모노머 조성물에서 스티렌 모노머 100 중량부 대비 0.01~0.5 중량부인 것을 특징으로 하는 발포성 스티렌 중합체의 제조방법. - 삭제
