Claims (21)
- 리튬을 도프 및 탈도프할 수 있는 물질을 포함하는 코어, 및
상기 리튬을 도프 및 탈도프할 수 있는 물질을 포함하는 코어의 외곽에 형성된 티타늄 규소화물(titanium silicide) 층을 포함하고,
상기 리튬을 도프 및 탈도프할 수 있는 물질은 실리콘(Si), SiOx1, Si-C 복합체, Si-Q 합금인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질:
상기 x1는 0 이상 2미만이고,
상기 Q는 알칼리 금속, 알칼리 토금속, 13족 내지 16족 원소, 전이금속, 희토류 원소 또는 이들의 조합이며, 상기 Q에서 실리콘은 제외된다. - 제1항에서,
상기 티타늄 규소화물은 하기 화학식 1로 표시되는 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질:

상기 화학식 1에서, 1≤x≤5이고, 1≤y≤4이다. - 제1항에서,
상기 티타늄 규소화물은 TiSi, TiSi2, Ti3Si, Ti5Si3, Ti5Si4 또는 이들의 조합인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질. - 삭제
- 제1항에서,
상기 리튬을 도프 및 탈도프할 수 있는 물질은 분말 형태, 웨이퍼(wafer) 형태, 또는 나노 와이어 형태인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질. - 제1항에서,
상기 티타늄 규소화물은 리튬을 도프 및 탈도프할 수 있는 물질을 포함하는 코어의 외곽에 부분적으로 또는 전면적으로 형성된 것인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질. - 제1항에서,
상기 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질 내 포함된 티타늄의 함량은, 상기 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질 100 중량%에 대하여 1 중량% 내지 5 중량%인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질. - 리튬을 도프 및 탈도프할 수 있는 물질, 티타늄 전구체 및 용매를 혼합하는 단계, 및
상기 수득된 혼합물을 열처리하여, 상기 리튬을 도프 및 탈도프할 수 있는 물질의 표면에 티타늄 규소화물 층을 형성하는 단계를 포함하고,
상기 리튬을 도프 및 탈도프할 수 있는 물질은 실리콘(Si), SiOx1, Si-C 복합체, Si-Q 합금인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질의 제조 방법:
상기 x1는 0 이상 2미만이고,
상기 Q는 알칼리 금속, 알칼리 토금속, 13족 내지 16족 원소, 전이금속, 희토류 원소 또는 이들의 조합이며, 상기 Q에서 실리콘은 제외된다. - 제8항에서,
상기 티타늄 규소화물은 하기 화학식 1로 표시되는 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질의 제조 방법:

- 제8항에서,
상기 티타늄 전구체는 티타늄 알콕시화물(titanium alkoxide), 티타늄 할로겐화물(titanium halide), 티타늄 수산화물(titanium hydroxide), 티타늄 알킬아미드 (titanium alkylamide) 또는 이들의 조합인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질의 제조 방법. - 제8항에서,
상기 티타늄 전구체는 티타늄 테트라 부톡사이드 (titanium tetrabutoxide, Ti(OCH2CH2CH2CH3)4), 티타늄 테트라 이소프로폭사이드 (titanium tetraisopropoxide, Ti[OCH(CH3)2]4), 사염화 티타늄 (TiCl4), 사불화 티타늄 (TiF4), 테트라키스디메틸 아미노 티타늄 (tetrakis dimethyl amino titanium, TDMAT, Ti[N(CH3)2]4) 또는 이들의 조합인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질의 제조 방법. - 제8항에서,
상기 용매는 물, 알코올계, 케톤계, 아미드계 또는 이들의 조합인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질의 제조 방법. - 제8항에서,
상기 열처리는 400℃ 내지 1100℃에서 이루어지는 것인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질의 제조 방법. - 제8항에서,
상기 열처리는 400℃ 내지 500℃에서 이루어진 후, 900℃ 내지 1000℃에서 한 번 더 이루어지는 것인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질의 제조 방법. - 제8항에서,
상기 열처리는 대기 중 또는 비활성 가스 분위기에서 이루어지는 것인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질의 제조 방법. - 제8항에서,
상기 열처리는 0.5 시간 내지 12 시간 동안 이루어지는 것인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질의 제조 방법. - 제8항에서,
상기 리튬을 도프 및 탈도프할 수 있는 물질, 티타늄 전구체 및 용매를 혼합하는 단계 이전에,
상기 리튬을 도프 및 탈도프할 수 있는 물질의 표면에 히드록시기(-OH), 카르복시기(-COOH), 아미노기(-NH2), 설폰기(-SO3H), 또는 이들의 조합을 포함하는 친수성기를 도입하는 단계를 더 포함하는 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질의 제조 방법. - 제18항에서,
상기 리튬을 도프 및 탈도프할 수 있는 물질의 표면에 히드록시기(-OH), 카르복시기(-COOH), 아미노기(-NH2), 설폰기(-SO3H), 또는 이들의 조합을 포함하는 친수성기를 도입하는 단계는
상기 리튬을 도프 및 탈도프할 수 있는 물질을 산 처리하는 방법에 의해 수행되는 것인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질의 제조 방법. - 제1항 내지 제3항, 및 제5항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질을 포함하는 리튬 이차 전지용 음극;
양극 활물질을 포함하는 양극;
상기 음극과 양극 사이에 존재하는 세퍼레이터; 및
전해질;
을 포함하는 리튬 이차 전지. - 제8항, 제9항 및 제11항 내지 제19항 중 어느 한 항에 따라 제조된 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질을 포함하는 음극;
양극 활물질을 포함하는 양극;
상기 음극과 양극 사이에 존재하는 세퍼레이터; 및
전해질;
을 포함하는 리튬 이차 전지.
