Claims (10)
- 액정 디스플레이 패널로서:
셀(cell)을 형성하기 위해 서로 마주보게 배치되는 제1 기판 및 제2 기판, 또한 상기 2개의 기판들 사이의 액정층을 포함하고;
상기 제1 기판상에 간격을 두고 배열된 제1 공통 전극 및 화소 전극이 형성되어 있고; 상기 제2 기판상에 층들의 집합이 형성되어 있고, 층들의 상기 집합은: 제2 공통 전극 및 상기 제1 기판을 마주보는 상기 제2 공통 전극의 일면을 커버하는 유전성층(dielectric layer)을 포함하고; 그리고
층들의 상기 집합의 구조는 상기 제1 공통 전극과 직접 마주보는 위치에서 상기 화소 전극과 직접 마주보는 위치에서의 것과는 다르며,
상기 제1 공통 전극과 직접 마주보는 위치에서 상기 화소 전극과 직접 마주보는 위치에서의 것과는 다른, 층들의 상기 집합의 상기 구조는:
층들의 상기 집합에서 상기 유전성층은, 간격을 두고 배열되며 밀접하게 연접(link)되는 제1 유전성 유닛 및 제2 유전성 유닛을 포함하고, 상기 제1 유전성 유닛은 상기 제1 공통 전극과 직접 마주보는 위치에 있고, 상기 제2 유전성 유닛은 상기 화소 전극과 직접 마주보는 위치에 있고; 그리고 상기 제1 유전성 유닛의 유전율은 상기 제2 유전성 유닛의 유전율보다 큰 경우를 포함하는, 액정 디스플레이 패널. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제1 유전성 유닛의 폭(width)은 상기 제2 유전성 유닛의 폭과 일치하는, 액정 디스플레이 패널. - 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
상기 제1 공통 전극과 직접 마주보는 위치에서 상기 화소 전극과 직접 마주보는 위치에서의 것과는 다른, 층들의 상기 집합의 상기 구조는:
층들의 상기 집합에서 상기 제2 공통 전극상에 슬릿(slit)이 형성되어 있고, 상기 슬릿은 상기 화소 전극과 직접 마주보는 위치에 있는 경우를 포함하는, 액정 디스플레이 패널. - 제3항에 있어서,
상기 슬릿의 폭은 상기 화소 전극의 폭과 일치하는, 액정 디스플레이 패널. - 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
상기 제1 공통 전극과 직접 마주보는 위치에서 상기 화소 전극과 직접 마주보는 위치에서의 것과는 다른, 층들의 상기 집합의 상기 구조는:
층들의 상기 집합에서 상기 제2 공통 전극은 오목-볼록 형상(concave-convex shape)으로 있고,
상기 제2 공통 전극의 오목 형상 부분 및 상기 제1 기판 사이의 거리는 상기 제2 공통 전극의 볼록 형상 부분 및 상기 제1 기판 사이의 거리보다 짧고; 그리고 상기 제2 공통 전극의 상기 오목 형상 부분은 상기 제1 공통 전극과 직접 마주보는 위치에 있고, 상기 제2 공통 전극의 상기 볼록 형상 부분은 상기 화소 전극과 직접 마주보는 위치에 있는 경우를 포함하는, 액정 디스플레이 패널. - 제5항에 있어서,
상기 제2 공통 전극의 상기 오목 형상 부분의 폭은 상기 제1 공통 전극의 폭과 일치하는, 액정 디스플레이 패널. - 제5항에 있어서,
상기 제2 공통 전극의 상기 볼록 형상 부분은 슬릿을 구비하도록 형성되고, 상기 슬릿은 상기 화소 전극과 직접 마주보는 위치에 있는, 액정 디스플레이 패널. - 제7항에 있어서,
상기 슬릿의 폭은 상기 화소 전극의 폭과 일치하는, 액정 디스플레이 패널. - 액정 디스플레이 패널 및 상기 액정 디스플레이 패널을 위해 백라이트(backlight)를 제공하는 백라이트 소스(backlight source)를 포함하고,
상기 액정 디스플레이 패널은 제1항에 따른 것인 액정 디스플레이. - 삭제
