Claims (14)
- 특정 임시 블록 플로우(TBF; temporary block flow)에 대하여 확인응답(ACK; acknowledgement) 또는 비확인응답(NACK; non-acknowledgement)을 표시하도록 데이터 블록에 포함된, 피기백된 확인응답/비확인응답(PAN; piggybacked ACK/NACK) 필드를 처리하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 TBF는 데이터의 단방향성 전송을 지원하기 위한 이동국과 네트워크 사이의 임시 접속이고, 상기 방법은,PAN 필드 및 PAN 체크 시퀀스(PCS; PAN check sequence)의 코딩된 비트를 포함하는 데이터 블록을 수신하는 단계와;상기 PAN 필드 및 상기 PCS의 코딩된 비트를 디코딩하는 단계와;상기 PAN 필드 및 상기 PCS의 코딩된 비트의 디코딩 동안 계산된 소프트 메트릭(soft metric)에 기초하여 채널 링크 품질을 평가하는 단계와;상기 채널 링크 품질의 평가에 기초하여 상기 PAN 필드 및 상기 PCS를 수락(accept)하는 단계를 포함하는, PAN 필드의 처리 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 채널 링크 품질은 상기 코딩된 비트의 디코딩 동안 계산된 소프트 메트릭을 임계치와 비교함으로써 평가되는 것인, PAN 필드의 처리 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 소프트 메트릭은 비터비(Viterbi) 타입의 순방향 오류 정정 디코딩에서 최상의 생존 경로(best survivor path) 메트릭인 것인, PAN 필드의 처리 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 소프트 메트릭은 비터비(Viterbi) 타입의 순방향 오류 정정 디코딩에서 최상의 생존 경로(best survivor path) 메트릭과 두번째로 최상의 생존 경로(second best surviovor path) 메트릭 간의 차이인 것인, PAN 필드의 처리 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 채널 링크 품질은 비트 오류율을 임계치와 비교함으로써 평가되는 것인, PAN 필드의 처리 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 PAN 필드 및 상기 PCS의 코딩된 비트를 TBF 특유의 스크램블링 코드를 이용해 디스크램블(descrambling)하는 단계를 더 포함하는, PAN 필드의 처리 방법.
- 특정 임시 블록 플로우(TBF; temporary block flow)에 대하여 확인응답(ACK; acknowledgement) 또는 비확인응답(NACK; non-acknowledgement)을 표시하도록 데이터 블록에 포함된, 피기백된 확인응답/비확인응답(PAN; piggybacked ACK/NACK) 필드를 처리하는 장치에 있어서, 상기 TBF는 데이터의 단방향성 전송을 지원하기 위한 이동국과 네트워크 사이의 임시 접속이고, 상기 장치는,PAN 필드 및 PAN 체크 시퀀스(PCS; PAN check sequence)의 코딩된 비트를 포함하는 데이터 블록을 수신하도록 구성된 트랜시버와;상기 PAN 필드 및 상기 PCS의 코딩된 비트를 디코딩하도록 구성된 디코더와;상기 PAN 필드 및 상기 PCS의 코딩된 비트의 디코딩 동안 계산된 소프트 메트릭(soft metric)에 기초하여 채널 링크 품질을 평가하고, 상기 채널 링크 품질의 평가에 기초하여 상기 PAN 필드 및 상기 PCS를 수락(accept)하도록 구성된 처리 유닛을 포함하는 것인, PAN 필드의 처리 장치.
- 청구항 7에 있어서, 상기 처리 유닛은 상기 코딩된 비트의 디코딩 동안 계산된 소프트 메트릭을 임계치와 비교함으로써 상기 채널 품질 링크를 평가하도록 구성되는 것인, PAN 필드의 처리 장치.
- 청구항 7에 있어서, 상기 소프트 메트릭은 비터비(Viterbi) 타입의 순방향 오류 정정 디코딩에서 최상의 생존 경로(best survivor path) 메트릭인 것인, PAN 필드의 처리 장치.
- 청구항 7에 있어서, 상기 소프트 메트릭은 비터비(Viterbi) 타입의 순방향 오류 정정 디코딩에서 최상의 생존 경로(best survivor path) 메트릭과 두번째로 최상의 생존 경로(second best surviovor path) 메트릭 간의 차이인 것인, PAN 필드의 처리 장치.
- 청구항 7에 있어서, 상기 처리 유닛은 비트 오류율을 임계치와 비교함으로써 상기 채널 품질 링크를 평가하도록 구성되는 것인, PAN 필드의 처리 장치.
- 청구항 7에 있어서, 상기 PAN 필드 및 상기 PCS의 코딩된 비트를 TBF 특유의 스크램블링 코드를 이용해 디스크램블(descrambling)하는 디스크램블러를 더 포함하는, PAN 필드의 처리 장치.
