Claims (17)
- 물의 입구 및 출구를 구비하는 하우징 및터빈 샤프트 및 블레이드 세트를 구비하며 축을 중심으로 회전하도록 하우징 내에 장착되는 터빈을 포함하는, 수류로부터 전력을 발생시키기 위한 발전 장치로서,상기 하우징은 수중에 장착되도록 되어 있으며, 물이 입구를 통해 하우징 내로 흐르고 터빈에 대한 구동 수류를 향하도록 안내되며 이후에 출구를 통한 배출을 위해 안내되도록 구성되고,상기 터빈에는 구동 수류에 대한 블레이드의 각도를 제어하도록 구성되는 블레이드 각도 제어 기구가 마련되어 각각의 블레이드는 터빈 샤프트의 회전 속도의 절반으로 각각의 축을 중심으로 회전하며, 예정된 회전 방향으로 터빈을 구동하기 위해 유입되는 수류에 대한 블레이드의 표면적인 제1 블레이드 표면적은, 구동 방향에 반대 방향으로 유입되는 수류에 대한 블레이드의 표면적인 제2 블레이드 표면적보다 크고,상기 발전 장치는 터빈의 둘레 부분으로 구동 수류를 안내하기 위해 블레이드 세트가 배플 주위에서 회전하도록 위치설정되는 배플을 더 포함하는 것인 발전 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,터빈 샤프트("추가 샤프트") 및 블레이드("추가 블레이드") 세트를 구비하며 블레이드 각도 제어 기구("추가 블레이드 각도 제어 기구")가 마련되는 추가 터빈을 더 포함하고, 상기 추가 터빈은 상기 터빈의 축에 평행한 축을 중심으로 회전하도록 상기 터빈에 인접하게 하우징 내에 장착되며, 상기 하우징은, 유입되는 수류가 각각의 터빈 당 하나씩 2개의 구동 수류를 향하도록 구성되며, 추가 블레이드 각도 제어 기구는 각각의 추가 블레이드가 추가 샤프트의 회전 속도의 절반으로 각각의 축을 중심으로 회전하도록 추가 터빈에 대한 구동 수류에 대해 추가 블레이드의 각도를 제어하도록 구성되고, 예정된 회전 방향으로 추가 터빈을 구동하기 위해 유입되는 수류에 대한 블레이드의 표면적인 제3 블레이드 표면적은, 추가 터빈의 구동 방향에 반대 방향으로 유입되는 수류에 대한 블레이드의 표면적인 제4 블레이드 표면적보다 크고, 상기 발전 장치는 추가 터빈의 둘레 부분으로 추가 터빈을 위한 구동 수류를 안내하기 위해 배플 주위에서 추가 블레이드 세트가 회전하도록 위치설정되는 추가 배플을 더 포함하는 것인 발전 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 블레이드 각도 제어 기구 또는 각각의 블레이드 각도 제어 기구는 터빈축과 동축인 고정 선 기어(sun gear) 및 각각의 블레이드의 피봇 샤프트와 각각 연결된 유성 기어를 갖고 고정 선 기어는 유성 기어와 맞물리는 것인 유성 기어 시스템을 포함하며, 이에 의해 터빈이 회전함에 따라 블레이드가 피봇하여 블레이드의 각도를 변화시키게 되는 것인 발전 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 고정 선 기어 또는 각각의 고정 선 기어는 링크 시스템을 통해 유성 기어와 맞물리는 것인 발전 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 링크 시스템은 체인을 포함하는 것인 발전 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 링크 시스템은 벨트를 포함하는 것인 발전 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 링크 시스템은 일련의 아이들러 기어를 포함하는 것인 발전 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 블레이드 각도 제어 기구 또는 각각의 블레이드 각도 제어 기구의, 고정 선 기어 및 유성 기어는 직접 서로 맞물리는(intermeshing) 것인 발전 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 하우징은 부동(浮動) 구조물에 의해 지지되거나 부동 구조물의 일부를 형성하는 것인 발전 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 설치된 상태의 하우징은 해저에 인접하게 앵커링(anchoring)되는 것인 발전 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 터빈 또는 각각의 터빈에 의해 구동되는 하나 이상의 유압 펌프를 구비하며, 펌프 또는 각각의 펌프는 발전기를 구동하기 위해 구동되는 하나 이상의 유압 모터에 연결되는 것인 발전 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 발전 장치는 모듈 형태이며, 2개 이상의 모듈이 나란하게 병렬 관계로 작동하도록 2개 이상의 모듈을 조립함으로써 요구되는 발전 용량의 시스템이 형성될 수 있는 것인 발전 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 2개의 터빈은 반대 방향으로 동시에 회전하도록 결합되며, 유입되는 수류는 수류에 대한 블레이드의 표면적이 큰 각각의 터빈의 외주부를 향하여 안내되는 것인 발전 장치.
- 제13항에 있어서, 물의 입구에 편향기가 마련되어 유입되는 수류를 하우징의 각각의 외측부를 향해 2개의 구동 수류로 안내하는 것인 발전 장치.
- 제14항에 있어서, 각각의 블레이드 각도 제어 기구는, 각각의 블레이드가 하우징의 중앙 부분을 통해 이동할 때 블레이드의 표면적이 작아져서 중앙 부분에서 각각의 터빈에 작용하는 대항력을 줄여주고 중앙 부분에서 2개의 터빈의 블레이드 사이의 간섭을 방지하도록 하기 위해 블레이드 각도를 제어하도록 작동하는 것인 발전 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 터빈의 축 또는 각각의 터빈의 축은 구동 유동의 흐름 방향에 대해 수직인 것인 발전 장치.
