Description
도 2는 도 1에 도시한 연료 전지 스택 중 하나의 막-전극 접합체와 2개의 세퍼레이터를 나타낸 분해 사시도이다.
도 3은 도 2의 Ⅰ-Ⅰ선을 따라 절개한 막-전극 접합체의 단면도이다.
도 4는 본 발명의 제2 실시예에 따른 연료 전지 스택 중 막-전극 접합체의 단면도이다.

Claims (8)
- 막-전극 접합체와, 상기 막-전극 접합체의 양측에 밀착 배치되는 세퍼레이터를 포함하며,
상기 막-전극 접합체는,
전해질막;
상기 전해질막의 일면에 형성된 애노드 전극;
상기 전해질막의 반대측 일면에 형성된 캐소드 전극; 및
상기 캐소드 전극 중 산화제가 처음 도입되는 산화제 매니폴드에 인접하는 산화제 입구 영역에 제공되어 상기 산화제 입구 영역을 보호하는 보호층
을 포함하며,
상기 캐소드 전극은 촉매층과, 상기 촉매층을 덮는 가스 확산층을 포함하고,
상기 보호층은 상기 산화제 입구 영역에 대응하여 상기 촉매층과 상기 가스 확산층 사이에 위치하며,
상기 애노드 전극과 상기 캐소드 전극은 상기 전해질막보다 작은 크기로 형성되고,
상기 막-전극 접합체는 상기 전해질막의 가장자리를 수용하여 그 양면에 고정된 지지 필름을 더욱 포함하며,
상기 지지 필름의 내측단은 상기 촉매층과 상기 가스 확산층 및 상기 보호층의 단부에 맞닿는 연료 전지 스택. - 삭제

- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 지지 필름은 산화제 입구 매니폴드와 산화제 출구 매니폴드를 형성하고, 상기 산화제 입구 영역은 상기 산화제 입구 매니폴드와 가장 가까운 영역인 연료 전지 스택. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 세퍼레이터는 상기 캐소드 전극을 향한 일면에 산화제 채널을 형성하고, 상기 보호층은 상기 산화제 채널의 폭과 같거나 이보다 큰 폭을 가지면서 상기 산화제 채널의 길이 방향과 나란하게 형성되는 연료 전지 스택. - 제1항, 제4항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 보호층은 필름과 개스킷 중 어느 하나로 형성되는 연료 전지 스택. - 제6항에 있어서,
상기 보호층은 점착층을 구비하여 상기 캐소드 전극에 부착되는 연료 전지 스택. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 지지 필름의 일부가 상기 산화제 입구 영역으로 연장되어 상기 보호층과 상기 지지 필름이 일체로 형성되는 연료 전지 스택.
