Claims (6)
- (a) ZrO2, SiO2, B4C 및 C의 원료분말을 하기의 반응식에 따라 원하는 조성의 ZrB2-SiC 복합소재가 되도록 칭량하고, 원료분말을 혼합하여 분쇄하는 단계;(b) 분쇄된 혼합 분말을 몰드에 충진하고 상기 몰드를 고온가압소결로에 장입하는 단계;(c) 상기 고온가압소결로의 온도를 목표하는 제1 열처리 온도로 상승시키고, 비산화 가스 분위기로 제1 열처리 온도에서 소결하는 단계;(d) 인-시추 공정으로 상기 고온가압소결로의 온도를 상기 제1 열처리 온도보다 높은 제2 열처리 온도로 상승시키는 단계; 및(e) 상기 제2 열처리 온도에서 비산화 가스 분위기에서 가압하면서 열처리하여 치밀화하는 단계를 포함하는 지르코늄디보라이드-실리콘카바이드 복합소재의 제조방법.[반응식]2ZrO2 + xSiO2 + B4C + 3(1+x)C → 2ZrB2 + xSiC + 2(2+x)CO(g)(여기서, 0<x≤2이고 x는 실수임)
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 원료분말에 B4C 및 C 중에서 선택된 1종 이상의 물질이 ZrB2-15중량%SiC의 전체 함량 기준으로 0보다 크고 1중량% 이하의 함량으로 더 첨가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 지르코늄디보라이드-실리콘카바이드 복합소재의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 (c) 단계는,제1 열처리 온도인 1000~1600℃의 온도에서 30분~6시간 동안 열처리하는 단계로 이루어지고, 소결되어 형성되는 ZrB2-SiC 소결체가 산화되지 않고 안정되게 하기 위하여 상기 고온가압소결로 내에 아르곤(Ar) 또는 질소(N2) 가스를 주입하여 비산화 가스 분위기로 만들고, 주입되는 비산화 가스의 유량은 0.1~20ℓ/min 범위로 설정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 지르코늄디보라이드-실리콘카바이드 복합소재의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 (e) 단계는,제2 열처리 온도인 1700~2200℃의 온도에서 30분~6시간 동안 열처리하는 단계로 이루어지고, 치화밀화되어 형성되는 ZrB2-SiC 복합소재가 산화되지 않고 안정되게 하기 위하여 상기 고온가압소결로 내에 아르곤(Ar) 또는 질소(N2) 가스를 주 입하여 비산화 가스 분위기로 만들고, 주입되는 비산화 가스의 유량은 0.1~20ℓ/min 범위로 설정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 지르코늄디보라이드-실리콘카바이드 복합소재의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 분쇄는 텅스텐 카바이드 초경볼을 사용하는 볼밀링기를 이용하고, 볼 밀링기의 회전속도는 50~500rpm 범위로 설정하여 1~48시간 동안 실시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 지르코늄디보라이드-실리콘카바이드 복합소재의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 가압은 5~60MPa 범위의 압력으로 인가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 지르코늄디보라이드-실리콘카바이드 복합소재의 제조방법.
