Claims (28)
- 디지털 신호 상관기에서 다중경로 간섭을 완화하기 위한 방법으로서,디지털 신호 및 의사범위 기준코드간의 상관응답에 대한 진폭 또는 전력을 나타내는 값들을 형성하는 단계; 및시간지연을 계산하기 위하여 상기 상관응답에서 초기(earliest) 피크를 선택하는 단계를 포함하되,상기 선택하는 단계는,상관응답의 상승에지에 대한 기울기를 계산하는 단계;상기 상관응답의 평균 잡음레벨을 제공하는 단계;상기 기울기 및 상기 평균 잡음 레벨의 교차점을 계산하는 단계; 및상기 교차점을 사용하여 상기 초기 피크를 결정하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다중경로 간섭 완화 방법.

- 제 5항에 있어서, 상관 응답이 하나 이상의 다중경로 신호들에 의하여 영향을 받는지의 여부를 결정하는 상기 단계는,상관응답의 상승에지에 대한 제 1기울기를 계산하는 단계;상관응답의 하강에지에 대한 제 2 기울기를 계산하는 단계; 및상기 제 1 기울기와 상기 제 2기울기를 비교하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다중경로 간섭 완화 방법.
- 제 5항에 있어서, 상관 응답이 하나 이상의 다중경로 신호들에 의하여 영향을 받는지의 여부를 결정하는 상기 단계는,상기 상관응답의 상승에지 및 상기 상관응답의 평균 잡음레벨의 제 1교차점을 계산하는 단계;상기 상관응답의 하강에지 및 상기 상관응답의 평균 잡음레벨의 제 2교차점 을 계산하는 단계; 및상기 제 1 교차점 및 상기 제 2교차점간의 폭을 계산하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다중경로 간섭 완화 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 형성단계는,선택된 샘플간격을 가진 디지털 신호 샘플 세트를 발생시키기 위하여 상기 디지털 신호를 샘플링하는 단계; 및상기 상관응답을 발생시키기 위하여 상기 의사랜덤 기준코드와 상기 디지털 신호 샘플세트를 상관시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다중경로 간섭 완화 방법.
- 제 8항에 있어서, 상기 상관단계는,(a) 상기 의사랜덤 기준코드를 다수의 코드 세그먼트드로 분할하는 단계;(b) 코드 세그먼트를 선택하는 단계;(c) 부분상관을 발생시키기 위하여 상기 선택된 코드 세그먼트 및 상기 디지털 신호 샘플 세트간의 내적을 형성하는 단계;(d) 다수의 부분 상관들을 발생시키기 위하여 상기 단계 (b) 및 (c)를 반복하는 단계; 및(e) 상기 상관 응답을 발생시키기 위하여 상기 다수의 부분상관들을 합산하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다중경로 간섭 완화 방법.
- 제 9항에 있어서, 상기 의사랜덤 기준코드는 위성위치확인시스템(GPS)의 C/A 코드인 것을 특징으로 하는 다중경로 간섭 완화 방법.
- 제 10항에 있어서, 상기 의사랜덤 기준코드는 C/A 코드 비트를 정수의 샘플들로 복사하여 코드 세그먼트를 확장시킴으로서 발생되는 것을 특징으로 하는 다중경로 간섭 완화 방법.
- 제 11항에 있어서, 상기 C/A 코드의 고정수의 비중첩 세그먼트들중 하나를 선택함으로서 룩업 테이블로부터 상기 코드 세그먼트들을 발생시키는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다중경로 간섭 완화 방법.
- 제 9항에 있어서, 상기 내적은 상기 선택된 코드 세그먼트의 각각의 칩에 상기 디지털 신호 샘플들의 각각을 곱하고 상기 각각의 곱 결과치를 다른 곱 결과치들과 합산함으로서 형성되며 부분 상관을 발생시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 다중경로 간섭 완화 방법.
- 제 9항에 있어서, 상기 샘플 간격은 C/A 코드 칩의 적어도 1/2인 것을 특징으로 하는 다중경로 간섭 완화 방법.
- IF 신호를 형성하기 위하여 수신된 GPS 신호를 필터링 및 주파수 변환하는 RF/IF 변환기;IF 신호를 디지털화하는 아날로그 대 디지털 변환기;상기 디지털화된 신호로부터 도플러 시프트를 제거하고 동위상(I) 및 직교위상(Q) 신호를 발생시키는 튜너;상기 I 및 Q 신호들을 부샘플링하는 데시메이션 회로;상관응답의 진폭 또는 전력을 나타내는 값들을 발생시키기 위하여 상기 부샘플링된 I 및 Q 신호와 C/A 기준코드를 상관시키는 상관 프로세서; 및시간지연을 계산하기 위하여 상기 상관 응답에서 초기(earliest) 피크를 선택하는 프로세서를 포함하되,상기 프로세서는,상관 응답의 상승 에지에 대한 기울기를 계산하고,상기 상관 응답의 평균 잡음레벨을 제공하며,상기 기울기 및 상기 평균 잡음레벨의 교차점을 계산하며,상기 교차점을 사용하여 상기 초기 피크를 결정하도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 위성위치확인시스템(GPS) 신호용 수신기.
