Claims (7)
- 액티브영역과 더미영역과 패드영역이 정의된 하부기판과, 상기 하부기판에 대향되어 배치된 상부기판과, 상기 상,하부기판 사이에 충진된 액정으로 구성된 액정패널을 구비한 액정표시장치에 있어서,상기 액티브영역과 상기 더미영역에, 교차 배열된 게이트라인과 데이터라인에 의해서 정의되는 화소영역과;상기 액티브영역의 마지막 화소영역의 데이터라인과 쇼트되어 상기 더미영역의 더미 화소영역에 배열된 더미 데이터라인과;상기 액티브 영역의 마지막 화소 영역에 충전된 전압과 동일한 전압이 전달되는 더미 화소 전극과;상기 더미영역의 더미 화소전극에 연결되어 더미 화소전극에 충전된 전압을 출력하는 더미 피드백라인과;상기 액정 패널의 공통전극에 공통전압을 인가하며 상기 더미 피드백라인으로부터 피드백 전압(Fb)을 인가받아 상기 공통전압을 생성하는 공통전압 발생장치를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 공통전압 발생장치는 제 1, 제 2 게이트신호(VG1, VG2)를 받아 상기 피드백 전압(Fb)을 스위칭하여 제 1, 제 2 데이터(Da,Db)를 출력하는 제 1, 제 2 스위칭소자와,상기 제 1, 제 2 데이터(Da,Db)를 입력받아 차동 증폭하는 차동증폭기와,상기 제 1, 제 2 데이터(Da,Db)를 입력받아 그 중 작은 전압을 출력하는 멀티플렉서와,상기 차동증폭기와 상기 멀티플렉서의 출력신호를 입력받아 공통전압(Vcom)을 발생하는 덧셈기와,상기 공통전압을 안정화하여 출력하는 출력버퍼로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 게이트신호는 홀수번째 프레임에서 출력되고, 제 2 게이트신호는 짝수번째 프레임에서 출력되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 게이트신호는 1프레임 뒤의 상기 제 1 게이트신호인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 액정표시장치는 상기 공통전극이 상기 하부기판에 구성된 IPS모드 액정표시장치인 것을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 액정표시장치는 상기 공통전극이 상기 상부기판에 구성된 TN모드 액정표시장치인 것을 더 포함함을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 더미 데이터라인은 상기 패드영역에서 상기 액티브영역의 마지막 화소영역에 배치된 상기 데이터라인과 쇼트(Short)되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
