Claims (12)
- 데이터선들, 주사선들, 발광 제어선들의 교차부마다 위치되는 다수의 화소들과;상기 각 화소들에 구비되는 유기 발광 다이오드의 열화 정도에 대응되는 신호를 추출하기 위해, 상기 화소 내의 유기 발광 다이오드로 제 1전류를 공급하기 위한 제 1전류 소스부 및 상기 화소 내의 유기 발광 다이오드로 제 2전류를 공급하기 위한 제 2전류 소스부가 구비되는 센싱회로와; 상기 제 1전류에 대응되어 추출되는 제 1전압을 제 1디지털값으로 변환하고, 상기 제 2전류에 대응되어 추출되는 제 2전압을 제 2디지털값으로 변환하기 위한 적어도 하나의 아날로그 디지털 변환부를 포함하는 센싱부와;상기 센싱부에서 추출된 신호를 저장하고, 상기 저장된 신호를 통해 상기 유기 발광 다이오드의 열화 정도에 대한 정보만을 산출하여 저장하는 저장부와;상기 저장부에 저장된 열화 정도에 대한 정보를 이용하여 입력 데이터(Data)를 교정 데이터(Data')로 변환하는 변환부와;상기 변환부에서 출력되는 교정 데이터(Data')를 입력받아 상기 화소들로 공급될 데이터신호들을 생성하는 데이터 구동부가 포함되며,상기 저장부는, 상기 제 1디지털 값이 저장되는 제 1레지스터와; 상기 제 2디지털 값이 저장되는 제 2레지스터와; 상기 제 1레지스터에 저장된 제 1디지털 값을 k배(k는 정수)하고, 상기 k배의 제 1디지털 값 및 상기 제 2레지스터에 저장된 제 2디지털값의 차를 생성하여 각 화소 내 유기 발광 다이오드의 열화 정도에 대한 정보만을 추출하는 처리부와; 상기 처리부에서 추출된 각 화소 내 유기 발광 다이오드의 열화 정도에 대한 정보가 저장되는 제 3레지스터가 포함되어 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 센싱회로는 각각의 채널마다 위치되며,상기 센싱회로에는, 상기 제 1 및 제 2전류 소스부에 각각 연결되는 제 1 및 제 2스위칭소자(SW1, SW2)가 포함됨을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 제 2전류는 상기 제 1전류의 k배(k는 정수)에 해당함을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 표시장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 제 2스위칭소자(SW2)는 상기 제 1스위칭소자(SW1)가 턴 오프되었을 때 턴 온되는 것으로, 상기 제 1 및 제 2스위칭소자는 순차적으로 턴 온됨을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 표시장치.

- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 변환부는,상기 저장부에서 출력되는 신호에 의해 어드레싱되어 특정 교정값을 생성하는 룩업테이블(LUT)과;상기 룩업테이블에서 생성된 교정값이 저장되는 프레임 메모리가 포함되어 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 표시장치.
- 제 8항에 있어서,상기 저장부에서 출력되는 신호는 상기 저장부의 제 3레지스터에 저장된 각 화소 내 유기 발광 다이오드의 열화 정도에 대한 정보임을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 표시장치.
- 화소들 각각에 포함되는 유기 발광 다이오드로 제 1전류를 공급하면서 제 1전압을 생성하는 단계와;상기 화소들 각각에 포함되는 유기 발광 다이오드로 제 2전류를 공급하면서 제 2전압을 생성하는 단계와;상기 제 1전압 및 제 2전압을 각각 제 1디지털값 및 제 2디지털값으로 변환하여 저장하는 단계와;상기 제 1디지털 값을 k배(k는 정수)하고, 상기 k배의 제 1디지털 값 및 상기 제 2디지털값의 차를 생성하여 각 화소 내 유기 발광 다이오드의 열화 정도에 대한 정보만을 추출하는 단계와;상기 추출된 각 화소 내 유기 발광 다이오드의 열화 정도에 대한 정보를 이용하여 유기 발광 다이오드의 열화 정도와 무관하게 균일한 휘도의 영상을 표시할 수 있도록 입력 데이터(Data)를 교정 데이터(Data')로 변환하는 단계와;상기 교정 데이터(Data')에 대응되는 데이터 신호가 데이터선으로 제공되는 단계가 포함됨을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 10항에 있어서,상기 제 1 전압 및 제 2전압을 생성하는 단계는 유기전계발광 표시장치에 전원이 인가된 후 영상이 표시되기 전의 비표시기간에 수행됨을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 10항에 있어서,상기 제 2전류는 상기 제 1전류의 k(k는 정수)배에 해당함을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 표시장치의 구동방법.
