Claims (7)
- 연소실측 단부(11)에 글로우 플러그 형태의 U형 세라믹 가열 장치(12)를 캔틸레버식으로 지지하는 관형 금속 하우징(10), 및 연소실로부터 먼 측면에 배치되어 상기 세라믹 가열 장치(12)와 전기적 접촉된 단자 스터드를 포함하는 세라믹 피복 글로우 플러그에 있어서,상기 세라믹 가열 장치(12)는 적어도 상기 가열 장치가 상기 금속 하우징(10)에 의해 둘러싸인 영역에서 리세스들(21, 22)을 갖는 절연층(20)으로 코팅되며, 연소실로부터 먼 상기 U형 세라믹 가열 장치(12)의 하나의 단부에는 제 1 리세스(21)가 배치되고, 상기 U형 세라믹 가열 장치(12)의 다른 단부의 외벽에는 측면으로 제 2 리세스(22)가 배치되며, 상기 세라믹 가열 장치(12)의 외벽과 상기 금속 하우징(10)의 내벽 사이의 제 2 리세스(22) 영역에는 도전성 밀봉 재료(18)가 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 세라믹 피복 엘리먼트 글로우 플러그.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 세라믹 가열 장치(12)는 상기 금속 하우징(10)에 의해 둘러싸인 세그먼트(15)에서, 연소실로부터 먼 부분 영역에 보다 큰 직경을 가지며, 상기 직경은 조립시 상기 세라믹 가열 장치(12)가 연소실로부터 먼 단부로부터 상기 금속 하우징(10) 내에 삽입될 수 있도록 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 세라믹 피복 엘리먼트 글로우 플러그.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 절연층(20)은 유리화에 의해 적용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 세라믹 피복 엘리먼트 글로우 플러그.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 리세스들(21, 22)은 상기 절연층(20) 내에서 금속화되는 것을 특징으로 하는 세라믹 피복 엘리먼트 글로우 플러그.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 도전성 밀봉 재료(18)는 도전성 분말인 것을 특징으로 하는 세라믹 피복 엘리먼트 글로우 플러그.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 도전성 분말은 흑연, 금속 분말, 또는 세라믹과 도전성 입자의 분말 혼합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 세라믹 피복 엘리먼트 글로우 플러그.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 도전성 밀봉 재료(18)는 흑연 포일로 감겨진 중공 실린더인 것을 특징으로 하는 세라믹 피복 엘리먼트 글로우 플러그.
