Claims (5)
- 전압 검출 저항으로부터 검출된 전압에 따라 폭이 조정되는 스위칭 펄스를 스위치에 제공함으로써 스위치의 온/오프 시간을 제어하는 PWM 구동부를 갖는 LED 구동회로에 있어서,상기 전압 검출 저항으로부터 검출된 전압값과 임의의 디밍 전압값을 비교하는 비교부; 및상기 비교부로부터 비교된 전압값이 증가하면 상기 PWM 구동부로부터 출력되는 스위칭 펄스의 온(on) 시간을 증가시키고, 상기 비교부로부터 비교된 전압값이 감소하면 PWM 구동부로부터 출력되는 스위칭 펄스의 온 시간을 감소시키는 제어신호를 생성하는 PWM 제어부를 구비하여,상기 디밍 전압값에 따라 PWM 구동부에서 출력되는 스위칭 펄스폭을 제어함으로써 LED의 휘도를 조정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디밍 회로를 갖는 LED 구동회로.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전압 검출 저항으로부터 검출된 전압값을 증폭하여 상기 비교부로 제공하는 증폭부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디밍 회로를 갖는 LED 구동회로.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 PWM 구동부는 인가되는 전압이 증가하는 경우 출력되는 스위칭 펄스의 온 시간을 증가시키고, 인가되는 전압이 감소하는 경우 출력되는 스위칭 펄스의 온 시간을 감소시키는 콤프(comp) 단자를 갖는 PWM IC이고, 상기 PWM 제어부의 제어신호가 상기 콤프 단자로 인가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 디밍 회로를 갖는 LED 구동회로.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 PWM 제어부는,상기 비교부의 비교값이 인가되는 베이스와, 상기 콤프 단자에 연결된 에미터와, 접지에 연결된 콜렉터를 갖는 npn 트랜지스터를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디밍회로를 갖는 LED 구동회로.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 LED의 휘도를 조정하기 위한 조작을 하는 조작부;상기 조작부의 조작에 따른 휘도 조정 신호를 생성하는 마이크로 컨트롤러; 및상기 마이크로 컨트롤러에서 생성된 휘도 조정 신호를 상기 디밍 전압으로 출력하는 디지털-아날로그 변환부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디밍회로를 갖는 LED 구동회로.
